In between are cherry and apple trees, an old red barn, trout ponds and beautiful Cherry Creek. Minutes away is Flathead Lake with boat access at Yellow Bay State Park, Woods Bay and Bigfork. Boat & kayak rentals and guided fly-fishing are available nearby. The 3-story hand crafted post & beam log home has spectacular views. Three decks flow from large rooms with French doors. Wood floors, rock work & custom art add further beauty. We rent monthly during Spring, Fall and Winter months at reduced rates. Our property manager lives in smaller house on property so can be readily available if you have questions while there.

(Please note Trapper Cabin shares a bathroom with Glass House bunk room downstairs, about 20 feet away)brbrThere is also a 20' Tipi on property that is an authentic Crow Indian Tipi that was set up by Crow Indians in a traditional Tipi Ceremony in 2020. Tipi has no electricity with four foldable twin cots. We do not recommend overnight sleeping as it is somewhat open to the elements, even with the solid wood floor. (Please note Tipi shares a bathroom with Glass House bunk room downstairs about 30 feet away). The Tipi is nestled between four trees and faces East, as tradition, for the sunrise. Or, walk down to the boat dock for 180 degree views of Flathead Lake. The Eagle Bend Golf Club and Montana Athletic Club are also just a 5 minute drive away.brbr***No pets allowed. The basement leads to a large backyard for kids to play. A screened in porch with lots of seating to enjoy morning coffee is located just off the dining room. There are 185 miles of shoreline and 200 square miles of natural freshwater, therefore earning the title as “the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi”. Flathead Lake can be as still as still gets, however, it can also look like the open ocean. Storms and strong wind can arise seemingly out of nowhere and waves can reach 5-8 feet high, even more. brbrBecause our property is not in a bay, or sheltered in any way, this is extremely important to remember. Boats should NOT be tied up to the dock unless under supervision. This means no overnight docking. Boats need to be on the boat lift and fully raised. The new (in 2024) hydraulic lift will accommodate up to 9,000 lbs, however, it does not accommodate pontoons/tritoons.
