In the winter it is less than 7 miles to the ski areas and the winter sports park, and within walking distance of the cross country skiing trails in the park. Summer offers a 2 mile beach in the state park a 12 minute walk, right on Lake Michigan and Little Traverse Bay. The area is full of wonderful inland lakes for fishing. You may want to enjoy one of the 21 golf courses within 20 miles. brMaybe you would just enjoy the sight seeing of all the beautiful lakes and Victorian homes. The shopping districts offer all kinds of unique shops and galleries. Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Island and the Bridge is just a scenic 30 miles away. The Charlevoix to Harbor Springs Wheel way trail is just outside our door. For winter skiing we are less than 7 miles to both Nubs Knob or Boyne Highlands ski areas. There are cross country ski trails right next door in the state park. We like this condo complex so well and its location we bought the second one in here.
