Stayed Jul 29, 2023The property was functional and clean but pretty rough.A fair amount of deferred maintenance. The sleeping accommadations can sleep 11 if you count 3 sleeping on the small bunk bed. To sleep 13 you are looking at sleeping on couches in very tight spaces. Too small for 13. Owner was easy to contact but he gave very little in the way of information and gave inaccurate check in information which said we booked only the unit by the street and had the wrong WiFi codes. When I called him, he gave correct information. Nice guy up not very organized.

Stayed Jul 2, 2023When we arrived, the patio was so dirty we had to sweep the leaves off the deck and wipe the cobwebs of the chairs and table. There is no central air in the second cottage so it does get pretty hot at night. But the WORST thing is that the Owner charged us a damage fee claiming that we stole the fans and the board games from the property. He also claimed that we smoked inside. OUTRAGEOUS!!! BEWARE of these CROOKS!!! Don't book with them. I am already taking steps to handle this. Please save yourselves the aggravation of being called a thief and spending time calling VRBO, credit card companies etc.

Stayed Jun 3, 2021We booked the Cottages for a family trip taking our mother back home where she hadn’t been for over 30 years! The accommodations were great with a great space, deck, & dock on crooked lake, for the whole family to gather! Neighbors are also so nice. We had a blast with many things to do! Would recommend!
