Conveniently located 2 walking blocks from the waters edge and close to snowmobile and ORV trails, this cottage has everything needed for a great up-north getaway. Snowmobile trails are less than a 1/4 mile away! Snowmobile from the front door to the trails, or from the trailhead nearby. Road end lake access, as well as 1.2 miles from the only public boat launch and state park on the lake. brbrLocated on a secluded road end, this cottage allows privacy for all group types. This cottage is set up for your convenience. Rental includes towels, bedding, kitchen equipment, etc. for a simple stay away from home.brAll three queen size beds are Sealy Posturepedic pillow tops, making for an amazing night of sleep!brbrWe are working on remodeling the 1970's era finished downstairs with new furniture. It currently has one bedroom (with queen bed) and 1 bathroom. There is also a pool table, foosball table, air hockey, and table tennis. A small bar (sadly not stocked) is also located downstairs. We find that many guest enjoy hanging out down there after a full day of play. The downstairs is a walkout, and is also a great space to enter from the backyard and leave snowmobile suits and gear.brbrGuest have access to the entire house and yard. Fire pit area in the back yard with some fire wood supplied (enough to start your fire). Large picnic table located out there year-round. No separate seating provided out there during the winter mounts. 8 chairs provided during summer months, but stored up near house. Grill on the back deck May-October.

Enjoy a breath taking walk through our 1000 foot trail of 100 year old Cedar trees along side of the AuSable River. Located in the small town of Lovells Michigan, in the northern lower peninsula of Michigan. It is known for its high water quality, scenery, cold water fishery, Snowmobile and ORV trails, and so much more. brbrWe are available 24/7 and follow our guests lead on interactionbrbrSmart locks are used for access and provided via text the day of reservationbrbrLocated 100 ft from the river this unique property is built from logs brought in from Montana. The logs are huge and provide a beautiful solid structure. The exceptional winding staircase is something to behold and leads to 2 loft bedrooms, a full custom bath and reading room. The bath was designed by a local artist along with the ceramic artistry surrounding the jet tub. The bunk room which has 3 custom log bunk beds, sitting area, mini frig, smart tv, and 2 pull out chairs is a great place for kids or adults. brbrDownstairs, spacious laundry room complete with everything needed for your stay, a full custom bathroom complete with a huge linen closet stocked both with linens and amenities. The living and dining rooms are the center of the cabin and offer a huge 85” smart tv and dining table for 8. A wood burner in the center keeps this cabin very cozy! brbrLeading to the kitchen is another full guest bath and down the hall are 2 bedrooms one is a full size and the other is a queen. Both have built in dressers and ceiling fans. Off the kitchen is a a natural fireplace and sectional for the utmost comfort overseeing the AuSable River. The master suite located off the kitchen has a full bath and natural fireplace brbrThe outside property has plenty of cozy seating for a fire on the river, games to play etc. 40 acres of hiking and wondering, small creeks on the property offer a great exploration of northern Michigan. The North Branch of the AuSable provides the best fly fishing this side of the Rockies and is known for brown trout! brbrLocally (3 miles away) there is a restaurant Lovells Riverside Tavern. Excellent food and same owners own the Lovells Riverside Cabins 5 cabins (sleep 4 in each) all in Lovells on the river and available for family gatherings. Make your vacation stay in the hidden gem of “Lovells” MichiganbrbrWe ask that you respect the river and do not throw anything into it. A fun factor is that you can kayak (not provided) from this property to the Lovells Riverside Tavern in 1 .5 hours! It’s a beautiful float and worth the time to arrange. On the other side of Tavern is another great float about 2 hours to Dam 4. Lots of options and things to do. Shupac lake is another option and don’t forget the many many trails surrounding Lovells that take you just about anywhere on SxS or snowmobile!

This unique house is laid out backing up to forest and the North branch of the AuSable. The house is located only a short two track for several points of access to the river, making a wonderful stay for trout fishing or any river activities. The current pictures are during clean up and staging, however, we did not want to wait to post. As we continue staging and setting up we will update pictures for a more accurate view of how lovely this home actually is. brbrWe will contact you to send your access code on the day of the arrival. The property manager, Whitney is available by cell phone for any concerns throughout the stay. We do ask that you reach out once you have checked out. There are several persons around the property for general cleaning and repairs, please feel free to reach out to anyone for assistance. brbrThis building is located on the property with several other short term rentals and has plenty of room for parking trailers, and walking your furry friends. The town consists of a gas station, hardware store, and Lovells Riverside Tavern. The gas station Caids EZ Mart has been around about as long as we have, you can find your gas station snacks and some grocery essentials, they DO NOT have diesel only regular and rec fuel. The Lovells Riverside Tavern on the river and directly across from the Lovells Properties is known for is amazing atmosphere and equally amazing food, hosting live entertainment every weekend, the patio can be viewed by the riverfront.brbrWe allow access to the entire property, and provide several of your outdoor needs. There are several items we provide for our guests to utilize during their stay; two grills with propane, ashtrays, patio furniture, outdoor seating, campfire roasting spears, fire wood is provided mildly but should not be expected.brbrA spacious home with a laundry room, fully equipped kitchen, lots of amenities, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, old done in knotty pine. Come into a cozy spacious family home in Lovells, out in the middle of no where! There is a fire pit out in the back and outdoor chairs to sit around the campfire. Plenty of wood available and an outdoor grill to use. brbrThere may be Uber drivers in the area, but mostly this is a rural area with limited transportation.brbrThank you for considering our cabins along the beautiful AuSable River for your stay.
