Both bedrooms are located on that side of the cabin as well, each have two windows and full beds, however the most amazing view is to be found from the dining table out the main window facing the river. If we find an animal has stayed in one of our properties unauthorized we will charge you an additional $200 per animal. We provide ashtrays in each cover porch area, so please do not litter.brFeatures - the stair cases to the river are original and can be very slippery at all times. Please use at your own expense and be careful when accessing the river. As always, be respectful of our river is it one of the great natural fresh waters left and we love it.

We have ALWAYS been completely disinfecting our cabin, bedding, linens, etc.. with a powerful germicide that is effective against virtually every type of virus and bacteria including the human coronavirus. In times like these it's nice to be able to get away to a safe place and enjoy nature and our cabin offers just that-- a safe and secluded place to chill for a while.brbrYou are going to love this sweet little northern Michigan getaway located on 3 acres and adjoining thousands of acres of Wakeley lake area federal and with miles of hiking trails. Lots of great fishing and swimming lakes close by. But-- the main attraction to this location is the famous Au Sable River mainstream-- just 500 yards from the cabin. This river is nationally known for its world class fly fishing for brown, rainbow, and brook trout. brbrThe Au Sable river is also a popular destination for canoeing, kayaking, and tubing with several local rental liveries in grayling.brbrCabin has 2 double bed futons and a double bed air mattress that can be used if needed to sleep up to 6 guests. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with everything-- just like home. Nothing you need to bring. All bedding, towels and washcloths provided. Both charcoal and gas grills provided. Basically-- all you need to bring is your clothes, food, and drink and you are good to go!brbrPet friendly. Huge yard with big campfire pit. Picnic table and lawn chairs. You’ll have a peaceful, private, screened-in porch, two bedrooms with full-size beds, a full bathroom with a shower, and a relaxing living space with a smart TV. The full kitchen is stocked with everything you need for home-cooked meals, including a full refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and cooking and baking essentials.brbrWe will contact you to send your access code on the day of the arrival. The property manager, Whitney is available by cell phone for any concerns throughout the stay. We do ask that you reach out once you have checked out. The town consists of the gas station, hardware store, the rental cabins, tavern, and the inn. The hardware store is open seasonally, as well as the hardware items there is a sweet bakery inside as well. The gas station Caids has been around about as long as we have, you can find your gas station snacks and some grocery essentials, they DO NOT have diesel REG and REC only. The Lovells Riverside Tavern is known for is amazing atmosphere and equally amazing food, hosting live entertainment every weekend, the patio can be viewed by the riverfront.brbrWe allow access to the entire property, and provide several of your outdoor needs. There are several items we provide for our guests to utilize during their stay; two grills with propane, ashtrays, patio furniture, outdoor seating, campfire roasting spears, fire wood is provided mildly but should not be expected.brbrWhen you walk in, you will first be greeted by the cozy kitchen with a sink window peering over to the forest and river bank. All kitchen essentials are provided for your cooking and baking needs. We do provide dish washing essentials, and coffee during your stay. The kitchen opens up directly to the living area with the couch to your right and the dining table with television to your left. Turning the left corner you will come across the full bathroom with standing shower, filed with your bathing essentials. Both bedrooms are located on that side of the cabin as well, each have two windows and full beds, however the most amazing view is to be found from the dining table out the main window facing the river. In this cabin you will really have the best of both the wilderness and the riverfront. brbrThe gas station Caids has been around about as long as we have, you can find your gas station snacks and some grocery essentials, they DO NOT have diesel REG and REC only.
