With four bedrooms (king on the main level, queen, double, and two twins on the second floor) and two full baths (downstairs with shower, upstairs with shower and tub), the house is cozy and roomy at the same time. A dedicated workspace on the porch offers privacy. Air conditioning. This is a great home base for day trips exploring the Blue Hill peninsula and surrounding towns, Deer Isle/Stonington, Bucksport, Bar Harbor, and Acadia National Park. A fenced-in area is convenient for dogs and children (at guests' discretion). Rents Friday to Friday from May through October. Blue Hill is a great centrally located home base for day trips to many of Maine’s best locations. The “Mail Boat” from Stonington to Isle Au Haut” is a great way to spend a day and there are a number of beautiful hiking trials in the area.
