The hilltop setting and nearby ocean produce coastal breezes and you can often hear the surf. When not in the mood for the beach, guests can enjoy a large, above ground pool attached to the back deck.brThe first floor features a gourmet kitchen, a spacious dining room, and a double parlor living room with double patio doors leading to a large, open deck. One of the living rooms, separated by French doors, includes a dart board, Ms. Pac Man/Galaxian arcade game and card table, but can also be utilized as a bedroom for those choosing to stay on the first floor. A first floor bath features a large custom shower with granite pebble floor located near the entrance, a perfect place to rinse off after a day on the beach.brSix large bedrooms are located on the upper floors. The second floor features three bedrooms, two of which share a common bath. The master has a private bath. Three bedrooms on the third floor share a full bath. The five king and one queen size beds are all exceptionally comfortable with individually wrapped coils and quality linens (linen service is provided, but guests need to make up their beds on arrival). If the ocean breezes don’t keep you cool enough, the central AC on the upper floors will!brThe first floor entry, sunroom, kitchen and dining rooms have custom tile floors, while the living room is oak. All stairs, catwalks and bedrooms have beautiful blond maple floors with area rugs spread throughout. The large palladium window and cathedral ceiling above the foyer allows plenty of light to shine on a two-story, central staircase, while framing views of the front lawn from the catwalk. There are five TVs, high speed Wi-Fi and all new appliances. There is plenty of parking along the circular driveway and enough room for a boat or an RV. The lawn area is approximately one acre with plenty of flat, wide open space. The back porch can be accessed from a handicap accessible ramp. It is quiet and peaceful in the absence of any traffic noise or light pollution. This is a great place for stargazing. Star is great for the kiddos or a family. brbrMalaga Cottage:brMalaga was also renovated in 2025 completely. Now with a bigger bathroom and seating area. Malaga has a kitchenette area with a small fridge, microwave and prep area. The first bedroom, in Malaga, has a Queen-sized bed and the second a full-sized bed. There is another roll away cot available in Malaga. The cottage has a bathroom with a shower. There is a nice hot/cold outdoor shower under the deck for use after the beach or anytime, which also keeps the house free of sand.br brThe views from this home are absolutely spectacular (Wood Island Lighthouse, small islands, ducks, kayakers and boats moored close by). Watching the changing of the tides is absolutely amazing!!! From the house, walking down private steps to the beach is one minute! Downtown Biddeford has become a destination now by many.brKennebunkport is only 20 minutes away going south and Ogunquit which is also a quaint town to walk around is about 35 minutes away(south). Portland (going northeast) is a fantastic town to explore and driving is about 35 minutes. If discount shopping is your pleasure, Freeport, Maine is about 40 minutes away. Wonderful restaurants are in Biddeford, and areas close by.
