Stayed Aug 20, 2025We had a fantastic stay at Jen's house! It's a beautiful location - beachfront with tons of walking and exploring available. The house was comfortable with gorgeous views out of every window. Highly recommended for families, as our kids explored the low tide flats every day! Thanks, Jen!

Stayed Aug 22, 2024The house was much bigger than anticipated, giving our family plenty of room. Can’t be the house being right on the beach and the views were spectacular. Will hopefully be booking again for next year!

Stayed Jun 29, 2023Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful - step out the door right onto the beach! The newly remodeled deck was another favorite hangout spot. Internet connection was an issue, but would definitely stay here again…and again…and again!

Stayed Jun 24, 2023We had an amazing time in Maine! Biddeford Pool was the best place to relax, enjoy the water and kick off our summer! Although our weather was rainy we were able to explore the beach, sandbars and islands. What an amazing spot!!! LOVED watching the tide come in and go out again to reveal lots of beach. The house was the perfect place to chill out and unwind. Jen was a great host~ easy to talk to, she was quick to provide information and answer questions. The house was cute and clean. Views from the new deck were awesome!!! We were worried about the weather with 3 kiddos (12,12 and 14) but they explored, we tortured them with some family game time (we had brought some with us in case and the house had a checkers/chess/mancala combo available), our son went out and kayaked (there was a life jacket but if you have your own, you may want to bring with you), and we collected shells. LOVED the location!!! Thank you so much Jen for sharing your special spot with us!!!!

Stayed Aug 20, 2022The location is great- if you want peace&quiet this is all you need! If you'd like more, read to the end! Low tide lets you walk to TWO islands- one directly on top of a sand bar, and the 2nd only requires wading out in calf-deep water. Tons of tidal pools to explore! High tide brings great swimming! Lots of moorings to tie tubes off too and spend the day floating. On first floor- master bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed with a bathroom with a shower. No ocean view, but windows on 2 sides to let the breeze and sound pass through. 2 bedrooms with full size beds (no complaints sleeping from the single person in each) with ocean views. A bathroom with full tub is between them, accessed from hallway. 2nd floor- walk up the stairs into the living room with gorgeous views, 2 couches, and a chair. A small, but functional kitchen with coffee maker, filters, stove, fridge and dishwasher. There is a Keurig when we were there if you want to bring K-cups! The ocean view while cleaning up after a meal can't be beat! There's a dining table just outside the kitchen with 5 chairs. To the right of the stairs there is another living room area with a TV (the only tv in the house- which is nice for getting away!) and 2 couches- this made a great extra bedroom, lots of room for an air mattress. Through the first living room, there's a great deck that overlooks the bay. Plenty of chairs and a table for your group. Portland is about 1/2 hr away with lots of restaurants & other attractions (Cryptozoology Museum was fun on a rainy afternoon!) To the south, you'll find beach towns with more ocean feel. Just around Biddeford Pool are great beaches for tidal pooling and swimming in the surf. We visited Fortune Rocks Beach. Parking is free after 5pm. A day trip to Boothbay Harbor is easy and fun! Old Orchard Beach is at the north end of the bay (about a 20 minute drive) and has lots of fun tourist things like rides and mini golf. Pirates Patio was right on the beach and was good for cheap food and views. In Biddeford- check out Mulligans for CHEAP good food, free pool tables, and drinks. We went twice in our week's stay! Finally, Jen was great to communicate with- we actually had a car emergency at the end of our trip. She couldn't extend our stay due to off season people moving in the day we were moving out, but let us keep our bikes there until we can figure out the car situation. She answered all my silly questions at any time!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We couldn't have asked for a better location. The beach and the ocean is right below you. Almost all windows in the house offer fantastic views. It was wonderful falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to the ocean in front of me. Even if it was rainy we could all sit in the family room together and have a beautiful view of the ocean and islands. It was perfect for our kids. It was so easy to go back and forth to the beach and the waves were gentle; exploring the area at low tide was fun. There was hardly anyone around and those that were, were quiet. It was a quick easy drive up to Portland. The area has alot to offer. The house was very clean as well and very spacious. The beds could have been a little better quality. There could have been more plates and glasses and larger pots in the kitchen.
