Built in 2006 and just remodeled with new appliances and paint, this charming cabin on a private cattle and horse ranch is surrounded by fragrant sagebrush and chokecherry bushes and offers views, privacy, and peace. There is a large fenced yard, a private patio with furniture including cushions, a gas BBQ grill, and a chimenea with firewood provided. Inside, you have a full kitchen, a bedroom, and a full bathroom that includes a new washer and dryer. In the living room, you will find a new pull out queen sized couch, a recliner, a TV, and a woodburning stove. there is a dining table for 4 and an eating bar with two stools as well. The porch offers evening sun, while the patio has morning sun- a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee! We have plenty of parking, so if you are bringing a boat, your snowmobile trailer, or your side by sides, you will have no problem parking and turning around. This is the only cabin on our ranch other than our private home, which is barely visible from the porch of the cabin due to large bushes and trees. You are less than 15 minutes from downtown Gunnison and Gunnison Regional Airport, and about 40 minutes from Mt. Crested Butte. You can also drive East on Highway 50 and be at Monarch Mountain Ski Resort in 35 minutes. Blue Mesa Lake is less than 30 minutes away. Our gate is located between mile markers 167 and mile marker 168 on US HWY 50. Google map may be slightly off, so look for the gate between those mile markers. We have added photos of our gate and wagon wheel mail box to help you recognize us.

Slope access and conditions are dependent on snow fall. brbrbrbrThe dining room has seating for 8 at the table and two more at the kitchen island. The cozy living room has a gas fireplace for added warmth and ambiance as well as a sliding glass door which leads out to a west facing deck that is perfect for watching the sun set over the mountains. The smart TV has a satellite subscription. New flooring, lighting and furniture make this space so inviting.brbrbrbrThere are two bedrooms on this floor, one with a king sized bed and the other with two twins. These both have full sized, remodeled bathrooms separate from the bedrooms. The room with the king has a sliding door which leads to the west facing deck. There is also a washer/dryer on this floor. brbrbrbrUpstairs has a loft with an open sitting area with a large desk for work or puzzle space as well as a full sized pull out couch. There is a communal bike storage area in the basement on the ground floor where you can hang and secure your bike with your own lock. It closes after the ski season ends til about the 3rd week of June and will remain open through the summer and into September.
