Home is located on a tree lined street in central Colorado Springs. The area is called the Old North End and was developed around 1900. The house is a remodeled home with 2 bedrooms, 1.5baths, sleeps 5. Our home was built in 1900 and features original wood floors and trim. Everything else has been updated. Kitchen has gas range, Island hood, tile floors, breakfast bar, adjacent dining room & more. The property has off street parking and is 1-2 blocks to Colorado College, 1 mile to downtown Colorado Springs, about 10-15 minutes to Garden of the Gods and quick and easy access to I-25. From the house you can get just about anywhere in Colorado Springs in 15-20 minutes. There is WiFi, 50 inch HD TV, cable tv and internet service, linens/towels/blankets/pillows and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Master bedroom has a queen mattress, the second bedroom has a twin Daybed and the living room has a full sized pullout Sofa sleeper. There is a front porch with table and two chairs and the back patio has a table with 6 chairs and two Adirondack type chairs with propane BBQ grill. The house has central Air Conditioning but being a 118+yr old home, the upstairs doesn't cool as well as the main level. The home is very comfortable and completely set up as a vacation home. It is nestled at the end of a long driveway on a flag-lot. There is parking for 10 cars, a 7-person hot tub, outdoor swings, fire pit, trampoline, a treehouse, a zip line and loads of other things to do! brThe interior is designed to feel like a family farmhouse with every amenity you can imagine.brbrA custom-home designed by the owner as a dream getaway. Tucked away from the hustle on two oversized flag lots, nestled back away from the road. This spacious dwelling features large kitchen, dining, and living areas. With a live piano room, wood-burning fireplace, and front and back porches where you can relax and be together. brThe inside main level features the primary bedroom with a California king bed, an oversized bathroom with a walk-in shower/ jetted soaking tub and sitting area. Cozy up with a book or cup of coffee or for our musical guests listen to tune on the upright Yamaha piano. A large, oversized velvet sectional and 2 leather West Elm chairs is a great place to share stories with by the wood burning fireplace. The Magnolia inspired kitchen that boasts a Dacor oven / microwave and warming drawer, a Viking gas stove top, a large walk in pantry with the necessary kitchen appliance, and a Jennair Professional style 48 inch refrigerator. The dining space seats 10-12 guests with additional seating at the island counter (6 chairs). An art / game/ and office space sits right off the dining area with an array of games and a table that expands to seat 8 additional guests.
