Enjoy your stay at The Blue Bird Cottage in Colorado Springs. This home was constructed in 1891 and offers an old-world theme throughout. It is centrally located just minutes from downtown, Garden of the Gods and Ute Pass. Please enjoy the flower garden in the summer and utilize the sleds for fun in the snow in the winter. Umbrellas available for walks in the rain. Pets are welcome. There is a $75 pet fee applied. We know your pet may need a pet sitter when you are out exploring. We enjoy using the Rover pet-sitting service.brbrYour stay will be just like a home away from home with stocked kitchen utensils, coffees, teas, fresh linens, towels and so much more. The back deck is welcoming and has extra lighting for nights out on the deck. Easy access to the rear of the property if you want to park in the back off the alley.brbrHandicapped accessible. There are metal ramps that can be placed over the front stairs for wheelchair access to the home. Please request if needed.brAccess the entire home which includes a sunroom, parking on the street in front of the home, living room areas, 2 bathrooms, (one upper and one on main level), three bedrooms, (2 upstairs and one on main level), laundry room, (main level), back and front yard. Covered parking in the rear for up to two cars if needed, dining area and stocked kitchen fit for the culinarian.brbrWe are just a phone call away for any questions or needs. Smoking is allowed outside. Please utilize the provided ash trays. You may park in the front of the home/back yard and to the side of the apartment complex.
