The clean, well-appointed kitchen and spacious dining room made meal times a breeze for a large group, with beautiful views of the mountains, the sunset and the stars. The kids loved sharing the bunk bed room (once a fair trade agreement for top bunks was in place!). Despite enjoying the common areas, it was also easy to find more private zones for quiet reading or puzzle-making, or cozying up with hot chocolate by the fire (or, alas, having the odd work call). Putting a movie on in the den for the kids was also a favourite (and not just for the kids!). And the hot tub was just what we needed after a day on the slopes. Technically ski in/ski out but just know to ski out its a short walk up a hill to the lift. - April 2026brbrMy family of 4 had an amazing stay! The lodging was comfortable and in a great location --skiable out the door for both alpine and Nordic trails, and a quick walk to Tube Town, the ice rink, and the Village. The gas fireplace made for a cozy feeling inside. It was a short walk to the village. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day out on the trails. The owner was in the unit above us and was very friendly and helpful at answering questions about parking etc. Silver Star Stays was also responsive and friendly. We *thought* we had an issue (it didn't end up being an issue) with the dishwasher, and they came out and helped us figure out what was going on and how to use it. Getting back I would recommend the shuttle as some of the group was able to ski back but if you miss the turn it’s a long walk back around! I would recommend having cars to go to and from the village to eat as walking was difficult in the dark, snowy and cold winter nights.
