The private backyard can be enjoyed by two separate decks, and a lower patio. The treed area behind this cottage is a great place for kids to be able to explore and play. This home is indeed air conditioned for those hot summer days to make a great retreat from the sun! The lake can be accessed at one of a few different public beaches in the area - Kinsmen Beach, James Chabot, and Windermere Beach. All 3 are beautiful beaches and just a short drive away. brbrThe Columbia valley is a playground of activities for all ages. From world class Golf courses, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, lake skating, paddleboarding, swimming, boating, Fairmont and Radium hot springs, Invermere downtown shopping, and the list goes on. There is so much to do within close proximity to this cottage! As well, grocery shopping, coffee, gas, are all a short 2-4 minute drive away. A beautiful mountain and lake getaway but all close to convenience. brbrWe allow up to 10 people to stay at this cottage. There are 4 bedrooms total with a queen bed in each bedroom. We also have a pullout bed in one bedroom, a few single sleeping mats, and a large queen mattress in upstairs closet as well. The Grizzly Hideaway offers lots of spaces to enjoy conversation and entertainment. The main floor boasts a large floor to ceiling living area for relaxation and visiting. We find that this is best done at the end of the evening as the hot tub should not be used for 3 hours following the chlorine cycle. If you remove the chlorine floater during your use it is the guest’s responsibility to make sure it is placed back in the hot tub after each use. We ask that if you are enjoying a beverage in the tub you only use plastic cups. If the hot tub water is not properly maintained and requires more than 1 site visit for maintenance and/or a full drain and refill, there will be an additional charge of $400.00.brbr8. Please respect the neighbours and the quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. There is a noise monitor in the unit that will test decibels throughout the day.brbr2. No parties or events will be permitted on the property. The maximum occupancy for this unit cannot exceed more than 10 people.brbr3. There is no smoking permitted on the property including vapes. Any proof of smoking will result in a $300.00 fee for odour removal.brbr4. Although up to two (x2) pets are permitted on the property, we ask that you please keep them off the linens and furniture. Any excessive dog hair or damage will be charged to the guest`s name on the reservation.brbr5. We provide high-quality hotel linens for our property and proper makeup removal cloths. Any stained linens will be charged to the guest.brbr6. Hot tub use should be restricted to 30 minutes and avoided by anyone who may be pregnant. After each use, it is the guest’s responsibility to add 1 cap of boost granules (chlorine granules) into the middle of the hot tub while the jets are turned on for 20 minutes. Please leave the lid open for 45 minutes and remember to close the lid to avoid turning it into a cold plunge! We find that this is best done at the end of the evening as the hot tub should not be used for 3 hours following the chlorine cycle. If you remove the chlorine floater during your use it is the guest’s responsibility to make sure it is placed back in the hot tub after each use. We ask that if you are enjoying a beverage in the tub you only use plastic cups. If the hot tub water is not properly maintained and requires more than 1 site visit for maintenance and/or a full drain and refill, there will be an additional charge of $400.00.brbr7. Please note that as of March 2026, short-term rental guests are no longer able to access Timber Ridge`s private beach area, tennis courts and certain marked off trails. Instead, you can enjoy Windermere`s public beach just a 7-minute drive away. Please abide by the community`s posted signage at all times. Thank you.
