Four of the six units are set up as monthly furnished rentals catering to temporary workers and people transitioning to their next permanent home.brbrEast Ocean View has been undergoing a Renaissance over the past decade, and new upscale apartments, condos and single family homes continue to replace the older housing stock in the area. Each year, there is more of a beach vibe. There are now lots of bike lanes and golf carts are commonplace. brbrAt the end of our block, there is a small commercial area with an authentic highly rated Mexican restaurant and grocery, a pizza place, and a Beach Bistro type restaurant. The laundrymat is about a mile away. There is extensive shopping available on Little Creek Road, less than a mile away. brbrThis location is VERY convenient to Little Creek Amphib Base, and reasonably convenient to the Norfolk Naval Base. But what makes this location extra-special is the short walk to the beach, which is a great place for quiet recreation any time of year.

We have fantastic views of the beach from the decks and the upstairs. We are beach front and your backyard is the beautiful sandy beaches of the Chesapeake Bay.brbrMermaid's has central heat and air. We have a dual zone system for both upstairs and down. There are 3 bedrooms; two of which are upstairs - one has a queen-size bed and a twin bed with a locking door, and the other also has a queen and a twin with a full curtain for privacy. The downstairs bedroom features one queen bed.brbrWe have a 65 Smart TV for you to stream your own entertainment services. We also have high speed WiFi for all your devices.brbrWe have a dining area, with a dining table and 6 chairs. brbrWe have two full bathrooms - upstairs has a standup shower and the main bathroom downstairs has a full tub/shower combination.brbrThe full size kitchen features a gas stove. We also have a full size washer/dryer.brbrWe are pet friendly with a pet fee.
