Make some memories at this vintage cottage, and family-friendly place. We are Beach Side just a short walk to the fantastic Chesapeake Bay Beaches. No streets to cross!brbrWe are pet friendly and offer the following amenities: Large Smart TV, High Speed WiFi, Off-Street Parking, Gas Furnace for Heat, Window AC, Full Kitchen with Gas Stove, Back Deck, Charcoal Barbecue Grill, Two Queen Size Beds.brbrThis is an older home in very close proximity to the beach; ideal for the beach-lover looking for a cost-friendly option to vacation. brbrThis little beach cottage may not be for everyone. It is one of the last remaining beach boxes built during the 1940's. As such, there are vintage-touches still in place. brbrPink Flamingo has many of the original features such as tiled bathroom, gas stove, furnace heating system and windows. There have been some upgrades which include the window AC unit, new roof, fresh paint and flooring. If you are looking for modern perfection, this may not be for you. Our pictures are accurate and show the home as it is. We have tried to make it a cute, comfortable and an economical place for small families to enjoy our beautiful Chesapeake Bay Beaches. brbrEven with a thorough modernization the property is a historical home that is now over 80 years old. It has some eccentricities that reflect building standards and designs from the turn of the last century that lends to its charm as an older beach cottage. But even so, we hope that you will love our older and charming home. brbrThere is a brand new beach access stairway and boardwalk that will allow for easy access to the beach. Parking is right in front of your door, just off of Ocean View Ave. We are close enough to the beach that occasionally we can hear the waves, but the dune blocks our view. The walk to the beach is less than one minute if you hurry and there are no streets to cross.brbrThe bathroom has a stand up shower and is fully tiled. We have a small back deck which is a perfect place for outdoor dining and just relaxing in the shade.brThe kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silver, pots/pans, cups and glasses and will allow for cooking family meals. The dining area will be shared with the living room and is a bit small, but functional.brbrSmoking is not allowed inside, however we are perfectly fine with it outside on the deck or porch.brbrThis is a family enterprise and as such we are happy to offer our home to families and smaller groups that are traveling or seeking to enjoy our beautiful beaches. brbrNo parties are allowed or tolerated. We do have neighbors close by and everyone is entitled (by law) to the quiet enjoyment of their homes - including you as our guest. Please respect your neighbors. Work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, beginning in late May 2025 and continuing through late July 2025. You will have to use the beach from 11th Bay and down to enjoy the beach.brbrPlease be aware that the impacted section of the beach will be closed during work hours but will reopen in the evenings and on weekends. Alternate access to the beach is available via 11th View St and other nearby entry points.brbrbrbrThis home sleeps 4 with 2 fantastic queen beds, TV's in every room, feather duvets and pillows, a fully appointed kitchen, giga blast wifi and a front deck accessed from the side of the building.
