No streets to cross!brbrWe are pet friendly and offer the following amenities: Large Smart TV, High Speed WiFi, Off-Street Parking, Gas Furnace for Heat, Window AC, Full Kitchen with Gas Stove, Back Deck, Charcoal Barbecue Grill, Two Queen Size Beds.brbrThis is an older home in very close proximity to the beach; ideal for the beach-lover looking for a cost-friendly option to vacation. brbrThis little beach cottage may not be for everyone. It is one of the last remaining beach boxes built during the 1940's. As such, there are vintage-touches still in place. brbrPink Flamingo has many of the original features such as tiled bathroom, gas stove, furnace heating system and windows. There have been some upgrades which include the window AC unit, new roof, fresh paint and flooring. If you are looking for modern perfection, this may not be for you. Our pictures are accurate and show the home as it is. We have tried to make it a cute, comfortable and an economical place for small families to enjoy our beautiful Chesapeake Bay Beaches. brbrEven with a thorough modernization the property is a historical home that is now over 80 years old. It has some eccentricities that reflect building standards and designs from the turn of the last century that lends to its charm as an older beach cottage. But even so, we hope that you will love our older and charming home. brbrThere is a brand new beach access stairway and boardwalk that will allow for easy access to the beach. Parking is right in front of your door, just off of Ocean View Ave. We are close enough to the beach that occasionally we can hear the waves, but the dune blocks our view. The walk to the beach is less than one minute if you hurry and there are no streets to cross.brbrThe bathroom has a stand up shower and is fully tiled. We have a small back deck which is a perfect place for outdoor dining and just relaxing in the shade.brThe kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silver, pots/pans, cups and glasses and will allow for cooking family meals. The dining area will be shared with the living room and is a bit small, but functional.brbrThere is a sandy lot next door to us that is perfect for walking your dogs and or additional parking.brbrSmoking is not allowed inside, however we are perfectly fine with it outside on the deck or porch.brbrThis is a family enterprise and as such we are happy to offer our home to families and smaller groups that are traveling or seeking to enjoy our beautiful beaches. No parties are allowed or tolerated. We do have neighbors close by and everyone is entitled (by law) to the quiet enjoyment of their homes - including you as our guest. Please respect your neighbors. They are motion activated, records video and audio, and are active during reservations. There is also a decibel monitoring device located in the home. This is a smart device that measures decibel levels only and allows us to respond to extremely loud and sustained volumes. It does NOT record conversation, it only measures decibel levels. This helps us to avoid unauthorized parties. Our goal is for our guests and neighbors to both have an enjoyable experience!brbr*No smoking allowed (weed or cigarettes) - evidence will incur a $500 minimum fine. Please smoke away from the home away from windows or doors and dispose of cigarette butts properly.brbr*Any visitors must also be listed in the guest count. Minimum fine of $50 per person per night will apply for any undisclosed guests. The city is strict about maximum occupancy including visitors and we cannot allow more than the maximum guest count at any one time.brbr*Please observe a 9 p.m.- 8 a.m. quiet hour for our neighbors. They are our utmost priority to continue to operate short term rentals for years to come. Noise violations are taken seriously and will have one courtesy warning before removal without repayment for nights unspent.brbr*Our place is not for parties. $500 minimum fine for parties. A party is defined by any more than the maximum amount of occupants in the home at any one time (guest maximum can be found in the listing). No refund will be given for nights unspent if we are forced to terminate the reservation due to a party. If the guest does not complete the verification or the host is not comfortable with the screening results, host may cancel the reservation with full refund to the guest.brbr*Any cleaning or maintenance issues must be addressed to the host.
