The logs are of dense American white oak, which was the preferred Lumber due to its strength, durability and size. Utilization of the joint method of construction indicates it was built in 1820's. The cabin was tagged and moved to Center Hill Lake Tennessee. brbrA new concrete walk out basement was built to the exact specifications of the cabin. The basement is constructed of thick outer layers of rigid insulation and a rebar and concrete inner core. The logs were rebuilt using a specialized cabin restoration company, the same people that dismantled it. The roof is constructed with heavy panels and there are double glazed windows throughout the home.

The lake access may vary depending on how high the water level is during different times of the year. This home was designed with guests and families in mind. For those who use Wireless devices, we offer 50 MB connection speed for streaming services (or work, if you must). The house features a private upstairs master suite with king bed, large walk-in shower, whirlpool tub, vented gas fireplace, walk-in closet and 40” HD Smart TV with Netflix, etc. On the main level, is a large modern kitchen with custom cabinets, granite tops and stainless appliances and stainless farmhouse sink. The kitchen also has a double oven, microwave, refrig and is well stocked with dishware and cookware. This is also not included in the cleaning fee so please clean it if it is used or there will be a cleaning charge added. brbrUpstairs is a bunk room with 3 Twin Xl beds and 2 Twin size beds. There is also a foosball table and smart tv in this area. brbrDownstairs is a sportsman’s dream, the main living area has a reclining couch and loveseat with 4 TV’s to keep up with all the games scores. A ping pong table and darts for a friendly competition, another Master Suite with custom shower and king bed.
