Under our porch we have 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, 1 paddle-board, and several life jackets. You are welcome to use these for free during your stay. If you go out the front door of the cabin and walk to the right down Sunset Ct, there is a spot where the road lowers/ narrows and the lake is closer/ more accessible on either side of the road before you get to those few houses on the peninsula/ cul-de-sac. This area is a good spot to put in for canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. People also fish in the lake as well.brbrNEIGHBORHOOD DOCK: If you walk or drive back towards the main entrance to the neighborhood, there will be a playground on your right. Park there and walk past the playground and there is a boardwalk to a covered dock with Adirondack chairs. It’s a great place to relax by the water. {To head towards playground/ main entrance, turn left off Sunset onto Heron in front of the cabin, and then turn right onto Water’s Edge. The playground will be on your right.}brbrNEIGHBORHOOD FIRE PITS: There are several community fire pits. The closest one is in the cul-de-sac that you can see when looking straight off the front porch. It has orange chairs around it. And it has firewood next to the pit for use. The other pretty cool area is the covered pavilion closest to the main entrance. This one has cafe lights and an actual fireplace and picnic tables. Despite the square footage, you'll find everything you need: living room with 55 TV, full chef's kitchen with stainless steel appliances, full size washer and dryer, full bathroom with tub, a loft with two twin beds, bunkbeds in the hall, and a private master suite equipped with a queen bed and private television. Outside you'll find 400 sq ft of decking, including a screened porch with dining table, a deck overlooking the firepit with dining for six and a propane grill, and another covered deck located off the master bedroom. Our firepit is yours to enjoy! There's also plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run around, with good vantage points from both the front and rear decks for parents to keep an eye on them.brbrNote:br-Snowfall is possible during the winter months. The roads in the neighborhood are mostly level, but they will likely not be plowed at all if there is snow on the ground. The roads in the area outside the neighborhood are generally well maintained, but do exercise caution if driving in snow.br-The outdoor firepit is available 24/7/365! We will provide a way for you to remove snow should snowfall occur during your visit.brbrOur home is part of The Retreat at Water's Edge, a tiny home community located in the beautiful mountains of Tracy City, TN. It features a king bed and an attached full bathroom with two sinks, a shower and bathtub. There are three additional bedrooms in the hall—one has a queen bed and two have twin beds—along with a second full bathroom located in the hallway. The cozy den (The Cave) includes an electric fireplace, two couches (one which folds out into a queen bed), and a futon for additional sleeping space.
