A large open deck overlooking a winding mountain stream, (a perfect place for star gazing), a screened in porch with a ceiling fan for those lazy afternoons and a patio . There is a built-in garage for your sports equipment; kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, and motorcycles (room for approximately 8 motorcycles). There is an outside fire ring next to the wandering stream .There is also a propane grill available for all you barbecue chefs.br Happy valet chalet has plenty of room to park anything that you want to bring. Check out the pictures in the website.br Happy Valley is a mile and a half from the Dragon so if you want to go for a long ride or you just want to go for a short ride is very convenient. brbrbr NO animals allowed under any Circumstance The house has a gourmet kitchen, internet, satellite TV, Foosball table, ping pong table and a DVD player.br There's 2 smart TV so bring your passwords. There are several walking trails on the property as well. br There is A Jacuzzi on property .brbr My covid 19 Cleaning routinebr I never do back-to-back rentals I always wait at least 48 hours.br I use pure Rubbing alcohol on Frequent touched places Door knobs, light switches ,frigerator handle ,TV Remotes etc....br General cleaning I use a CDC approved Disinfectant.brbr Unfortunately we have had several large groups not follow the House Rules and disrespect the property. Happy Valley chalet is NOT a PARTY HOUSE! So if you're wanting to consume an extremely large amount of alcohol please pick another location. Happy Valley is not suited for children so therefore NO CHILDREN are allowed It also needs to be noted that we do have wild animals in the area including bear. While the spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains are the main attraction, the house has 3,200 square feet of living space and offers a lot of individual privacy for larger groups. It is great as a final destination for sitting on the porch, watching the mountains and visiting with friends and family or as home base for other activities such as riding the Dragon. If you're very lucky you might even see a bear or bobcat from the porch in addition to the deer, coyotes and wild turkeys that are more frequent. brbrIt is 5 minutes from great hiking trails inside the Park, fly fishing along Abrams Creek or paddling on Lake Chilhowee. It's only 10-15 minutes to the Tail of the Dragon, the Foothills Parkway and the Look Rock observation tower. If you're hankering for the crowds, it's an 80-90 minute drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg along the Foothills Parkway. The views from the Foothills Parkway are amazing!brbrThe house sleeps 10 comfortably in the 4 bedrooms and there's plenty of privacy with 3 modern baths. We also have a futon with extra bedding in the downstairs living area. The house has 160 feet of covered porches facing the mountains which are equipped with ceiling fans and plenty of outdoor seating including two porch swings. A fully paved driveway and two car garage make it ideal for motorcycle groups riding the Tail of the Dragon and the Foothills Parkway. There's also room on the grass to park trailers brbrThere's a gas grill and extra propane tanks in the garage for outdoor cooking and the large gourmet kitchen is fully outfitted, except for food. We have a large fully equipped laundry room as well. Many guests say the kitchen and house are the best equipped vacation rentals they've ever stayed in.brbrBecause of our remote location there is no cell phone service around the cabin unless you have AT&T cell service. We also offer free WiFi and land line phone service in the house. You can do WiFi calling as well.brbrAfter a hard day of sightseeing or riding the Dragon you can kick back and watch your favorite shows or movies on the big screen TV's in the two living areas using your preferred streaming service.
