In the 70's, the owner underwent expanding the cabin to its current 4000 sq. feet. They brought in two other cabins from the same period and added some new sections to complete the build. You can see from the look of the beams what section of the cabin you are in. This is a true old-fashioned cabin, a real piece of history. Outside, there are 4 patio/porches surrounding the cabin. The covered outside (Pondview) area has a stereo and TV and other goodies for your entertainment. There are bass in the pond as well catfish and bluegill. Please only take what you need and catch & release as often as you please. Turkeys live here and will pass by almost everyday. In the spring and summer, we have an abundance of Hummingbirds that live on the property. You will be astonished as to the hundreds of Hummingbirds that make their home here. Speaking of astonishment, during the the warm summer months, there is a firefly show that is truly incredible and can only be experienced from the hallow upon where you stay.
