Stayed Dec 20, 2024Words can not describe. We have stayed in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge over 20 Times. Every time we have been in town, we have rented a cabin in a neighborhood that was great. This time we chose to go in a different direction and rent outside of the typical box, we chose this property due to the proximity to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge as well as the privacy. The owner met us there at check in and from then on, it was nothing but a pleasure to stay at this property. We hiked, we fished, we had a bonfire, we walked the property, we played pool & corn hole, we watched football on the outside lanai overlooking the pond. This place was VERY PRIVATE, with no neighbors, this was EXACTLY what we needed as a family to escape the every day grind, sit back and enjoy each other. We LOVEDED IT, 5 Star Rating and would DEFINTELY go back. This is not your typical Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge rental, its much more. Thanks David for making our (10) day 2024 Christmas memorable......

Stayed Aug 2, 2024This is such a great property. Our last minute decision to visit the Gatlinburg area was well spent at this property. We wanted to get away for a week before the kids started school and really connect as a family. The fancy chalet we almost booked was tempting, but this property provided the privacy we were looking for. The cabin is definitely rustic while also offering modern day conveniences. We spent most of our time at the cabin down near the pond relaxing, listening to music, and playing pool. The ping pong table was not there, but would have loved that as well. We purchased our own fish food as the kids really enjoyed feeding them. We caught lots of fish including some larger bass. We only saw one bear on the property (snuck up at night time), but lots of turkey, birds, and a coyote. We enjoyed a camp fire on top of the hill behind the cabin. Dave the owner provided wood to make the fire. We also enjoyed our family hike up the mountain on the property. Bring your bug spray in the summer months though! The drive to the property from the main road was not too bad. Some narrow areas for sure, but pretty manageable. The cabin is in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so it was only about 10-15 minutes to get places. During our stay the front gate was not operational, but the owner said it was being fixed soon. This cabin was not full of luxuries, but js definitely private, peaceful, and so very relaxing. Our kids are 9 and 11 and really enjoyed staying at this property!

Stayed Apr 26, 2024Rented this beautiful historic farm in the mountains of Gatlinburg for a weekend retreat. The grounds are perfect for an extended stay with plenty to do and the room and privacy to do it. Will absolutely book another company event here in the future!

Stayed Nov 22, 2023My family has been going to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Tn every Thanksgiving for the last 23 years. We have stayed in so many beautiful cabins in the past but this cabin was by far the most beautiful. The amenities are great for family fun and the location of the cabin is so convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The listing is very accurate - actually pictures don’t do it justice. If you have a large family this cabin would would be perfect for making precious memories.

Stayed Jul 9, 2023The property was perfect for us. The pond was easy to get to and use. The house is full of different rooms to gather. The entire family enjoyed the grounds, and it was very close to Pidgeon Forge and all the other local attractions.

Stayed Mar 9, 2023My wife and I have been visiting the Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge area for over 30 years with our family. It had become difficult to find a place we could all stay as our kids got married and our family grew. My wife would literally look for weeks for a place that was big enough for our family, offer enough property for us to feel the privacy we desired, yet be close enough to the towns we would eat and play in during our stay. Huskey Grove Farms exceeded our greatest hope for a place with everything. As we turned the corner on top of the long winding driveway that led to the cabin and got our first glimpse of the cabin and surrounding amenities, my wife starting crying due to the overwhelming beauty and charm that we experienced on our first sight of the property. I could right a book about everything we loved but the owners video on the website perfectly summarizes what, for our family, we hope to make our home in the Smokies. The owner was extremely accommodating. Allowing us to check in a day early and stay a day longer. He does all of his own property maintenance and has a very high level of pride in the property, which it absolutely deserves. Before we left, we made sure that our family felt the same way and it was unanimous, we all want to come back again as soon as possible, so we told the owner we would see him again soon and we can’t wait to get back to this beautiful property.

Stayed Feb 4, 2022David's cabin was everything and more than we had expected. Such a beautiful location and setting on his 50 plus acre property. The cabin had everything that we needed, was spacious, and was a great choice by me and my friends. We had an issue with the grill but David was there very quickly to sorted out for us personally. Plan on staying again very soon!
