Please call us 30 minutes before arrival so that we can arrange to meet you and give you the keys .The Doorknob in front is historic and decorative, please use Metal handle to push door open and be gentle with the old doors. brNow about the place.....You have a functioning kitchen with glasses and cups for all beverages, a coffee machine with filters and grinder plus toaster and a working oven . Recycling and trash pickup is early on Monday morning so we will let you know when we pull all the receptacles to the street . Let us know if you need another bag .Please put all TRASH out on sunday evening brLinens and towels are all there with soap but you will need Shampoo if ours is wrong for you, shower gel and more toilet paper.brThe 2 toilets use Eco-Flush so please hold handle 3 seconds when you flush.brbrYou have 2 bedrooms upstairs , both with queen beds plus a sunroom in the back with a doublebed . Located in the busy intersection of Front and Market Street, the condo is footsteps away from shopping, dining, entertainment and attractions. Our location is a convenient stroll down the Riverwalk to Live Oak Bank Pavilion, Wilmington Convention Center and downtown wedding venues. Our block boasts storefront shopping full of retail, restaurants, deserts, and even an Irish Pub next door.brbrOur guests can expect the usual city noise. There are no clubs on this section of the block that play loud bass through the night. The Irish Pub next door does have 2 outdoors speakers that play music at a tolerable level until 2am. The living room is in the front of the condo to enjoy a bird’s eye view of what’s happening on the streets below. The bedroom is in the back of the unit eliminating a significant amount of the street noise.brbrOnce you get downtown you don’t need your car anymore because you can walk everywhere. Our guests usually park in the City of Wilmington’s Market Street Parking Deck (behind the buildings across the street). The parking deck is pay by the hour or 14.00 all day if you don’t leave the deck. We offer premium parking in our private space on the ground level with unlimited exit/entry for 15.00 a day. It’s not included in the price of the stay because half of our guests travel to Wilmington by air and don’t need parking. If you are interested in premium parking, just let us know after you book.
