Hello GUEST
We expect you around 5-6 PM but if this is not correct and you come later , let us know before your arrival. We live next door with our 12 year old who goes to sleep at 8:30 PM , which means we will be upstairs and won't hear any knocking . We live on N.6th Street near the Princess St. intersection and the house is colored pale rose. Your entrance is on the left . Please call us 30 minutes before arrival so that we can arrange to meet you and give you the keys .The Doorknob in front is historic and decorative, please use Metal handle to push door open and be gentle with the old doors.
Now about the place.....You have a functioning kitchen with glasses and cups for all beverages, a coffee machine with filters and grinder plus toaster and a working oven . Recycling and trash pickup is early on Monday morning so we will let you know when we pull all the receptacles to the street . Let us know if you need another bag .Please put all TRASH out on sunday evening
Linens and towels are all there with soap but you will need Shampoo if ours is wrong for you, shower gel and more toilet paper.
The 2 toilets use Eco-Flush so please hold handle 3 seconds when you flush.

You have 2 bedrooms upstairs , both with queen beds plus a sunroom in the back with a doublebed . The Sunroom is accessible through the second bedroom but all the rooms have doors for privacy. There is a Shower and bathroom upstairs. There is also a fully equipped laundryroom. Laundry detergent is ultra concentrated so please fill cap up to line 2 for each load. When using dryer, please put on LOW HEAT, HIGH does not work .Extra blankets and towels . Access to upper floor is by spiral staircase from living room and by a straight stairwell from back porch leading to second bedroom upstairs. All switches and pullchains control light and fans .
Downstairs is a queen sofa bed with the sheets and pillows in the 2 grey ottoman, a bathroom with tub and shower.Have beach towels if you do go to Wrightsville Beach or buy them because all the house towels are only for showering in the house.
Any other questions please do not hesitate to contact us ......a lot to read uh.

We wished to spend some time in the Historical District of Wilmington, with convenient walking access to the Riverfront and the downtown Restaurants and Entertainment. This was it! Our hosts were superb, the neighbors joyfully shared their community and our 159 year old lodging was on point!

We loved staying in Wilmington. We were only there for a weekend, and it was blazing hot out, but we were so close to everything that we had an easy time checking out downtown. The beds were comfy. The house was clean. The hosts were responsive and very helpful and nice. We hope to stay again sometime!

Stayed here over UNCW graduation weekend. Historic property with a lot of charm. Upstairs beds are comfortable (mattress and sheets). Full kitchen and a stocked coffee station.Only street parking - weekday parking might involve parking in the next block but it's no problem.Hosts were great and responsive. My 87 year old mom wasn't keen on climbing the steps and they opened up the sofa bed downstairs for her.

Location is in the historic district and lots walking opportunities. 5 mins from riverwalk by car and 15 min walk. Excellent hosts - very responsive, helpful, and friendly. The listing is a little jumbled - this is a duplex with owners living in other half with shared backyard. There is a spiral staircase inside the unit to get to second floor. If you have a dog, you need to bring them outside to go up back steps. Overall excellent experience and would book again!

This house is full of historic charm. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is in a greaf location- we were able to park and walk to all the fun of down town willmington. While the house is pet friendly it does have 2 stair cases that were a little steep for our old dog. The house is also listed as a full house but it is a duplex. There is plenty of space and all you could need but you do share a wall with the owners. They were delifhtful hosts upon pur check in and very quiet but i worried we were disturbing them..The house is lovely and we would definitely stay there again!

Visiting our son at UNCW and love to explore different parts of town. This stay was a lot of fun. Great walkability to riverfront for healthy folks. The accommodations aren’t fancy, but if you’re into the history of place vs. pristine condition, you’ll enjoy your stay.

We loved staying in the pink house. We could feel the history, still with the convenience of the modern amenities and walk downtown to explore and experience what the city has to offer. Trader’s Joe and Whole Foods are few minutes away. It took us 15 min to go to the beach. Luca and Amy were great hosts!
