It is one of the premium vacation properties on the island. It is located approximately 0.5 miles south of the Surf City high-rise bridge on upscale “South Shore Drive” which puts you within walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, groceries, shops, Surf City Pier and more! South Shore Drive is a 25 mph, oceanfront beach road that is only local traffic. It is the perfect place for an exercise run, bike ride or family walk. You can literally put your keys away for the week. We strive to make the house appealing to families with amenities like beach chairs, ping-pong table, gas grill, highchair, baby gate, pack & play and a second overflow refrigerator in the downstairs storage area.brThis ocean view 2nd row home has two beach accesses just a short walk across the street, literally 100 feet away. After you spend a day at the beach you can enjoy the large private backyard heated swimming pool that includes a slide for hours of enjoyment for the kids while you relax in the hot tub. The back yard is perfect for our guests to relax, sunbathe, listen to music, enjoy your favorite beverage, read, or enjoy an afternoon nap or have a family cookout with the outdoor grill. The pool is very large for the island with 10k gallons and measures 16' x 32' in length with a large slide. It is heated in the cooler months for free (mid-March - October 31st). The pool is closed Nov 1st through Mar 1st. brbrThe house consists of 2 main floors. The lower main living area contains the kitchen, ½ bath, laundry, dining room, master suite and bath. The kitchen has granite counter tops and is well stocked so you can prepare anything from a large breakfast to spaghetti dinners or burgers on the outside grill. The large dining room table comfortably accommodates 8 guests plus 4 bar stools at the peninsula bar. In the evenings when the sun sets and you are ready to wind down, sink into the large sectional and settle in for relaxation watching the large TV with soundbar. We are in an awesome location for restaurants and activities as there are some amazing restaurants less than a mile from us including some waterfront staples, bars, and coffee shops.brbrbrAdditional Notes: brbrThe cleaning fee covers all linens, which includes sheets, bath towels, and beach towels. Additionally, your rental will include a starter pack consisting of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, shampoo/conditioner, hand soap, and trash bags. Depending on the duration of your stay, please make arrangements to bring any additional supplies you may need.brbrParking: Our unit can accommodate two vehicles in the carport. If additional parking is needed, you are able to obtain a pass via the city to park at the local beach access points or any city parking - there is a beach access point just around the corner from us. Passes can be purchased in the lot using the QR code (parking for the week using QR code must be purchased between the hours of 9a-6p). The city has indicated that with a pass, these can be used overnight. The fire marshal is very strict about no one parking on the gravel as this is a code violation and your car will get towed.
