OCEANVIEW - WALK TO TOWN TO AVOID THE TRAFFIC, HOT TUB & HEATED POOL

Great Thanksgiving stay in Surf City. The home is well located with ocean views and an easy walk to town. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing over the holiday.The house was clean, well maintained, and comfortably set up for our group. While the heated pool was closed for the season, the hot tub was available and a nice bonus in cooler weather.Communication with the host was smooth and everything was as described. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

GREAT HOUSE!!! My family - 5 adults and one toddler had a wonderful vacation staying at this house for a week! It is exactly as described. The house is in a great location, clean, quiet neighborhood, beds were very comfortable and the air conditioner worked great, even on the second floor. Pool was fun for everyone and there are coffee shops, ice-cream parlors and a local market nearby and all within walking distance. Publix, Food Lion and Walmart are all about a five minute drive. Tons of seashells for the littles to collect. We watched the sunrise, which was spectacular! The check in/check out process was easy and although we did not need anything during our stay, Eric touched base just in case. We look forward to booking this property again!!

My family was looking for the perfect getaway. Coming from the hospitality industry as a Hotel owner, we can be picky. Eric’s house was beyond perfect. Extremely well maintained. Spotless. And Eric was a gem to work with. We are already planning for next year.

This property was perfect for our family getaway. It was family-friendly and included everything needed to keep the babies and toddlers safe during our stay. The location is excellent and it offers an ocean view with easy beach access just a couple of lots away. Good food and fun are within walking distance and we really didn’t need a car for much during the week. We loved the pool and the back patio area was great for relaxing after a day at the beach. The property offers a variety of amenities that make it feel like home. We look forward to a return visit very soon.

This was the second time we stayed here. We like the central location on the island. The pool is the highlight of the this home and the beach is only steps away, across the street.

The property is always in excellent condition, and every year there are more improvements made.

This was the perfect house for our family of 10! It was clean, conveniently located, nicely appointed and well-insulated from outside noises. The grandkids loved having the bunk room for cousin time. The baby items and gates made life easier with an infant and 2 toddlers. The close access to the beach was fantastic. The beach towels provided were much appreciated. We loved the many available outside spaces. While it was too hot for the hot tub, everyone enjoyed the salt water pool, slide and outdoor shower. Check-in and -out were seamless. Thank you for allowing us to use your fabulous home!

From the minute we arrived we all noticed the amount of thought that went into setting up this home for families to rent. A fully stocked kitchen made family dinners easy. The washing stations and outdoor shower helped to keep the house free from sand. The pool and hot tub was a plus after a beach day. The outdoor porches were not only comfortable but each one offered a different view. The location was perfect for a short walk or bike ride to town. Eric stayed in contact throughout our visit making sure we didn’t need anything. Overall experience was exceptional. Definitely would recommend to family and friends who are looking for a perfect relaxing vacation.

This is one of the absolute best beach houses we have ever stayed at in the twenty years we have been renting houses. It was very clean, decorated beautifully and the pool is very large. The kids loved the slide and it occupied them for hours. The front porches and back porch are so nice to sit and relax on while taking in the kids playing by the pool or the scenery of the ocean and beach road. The hosts are very responsive and easy to coordinate with. We would highly recommend and definitely come back!

90 seconds to the beautiful beach and a short walk to the pier and restaurants. Perfect size pool with slide and extraordinary hot tub. Sit on the top deck and look at the ocean inbthe evening. Best kitchen we have had.

Overall a great home for a big family. The location is wonderful. The house has a few items that need some maintenance but the owner was wonderful in communicating that they were being worked on.

House was perfect. Very clean. Great location. The kids loved the pool with the slide. Having two bikes to ride was wonderful , along with several beach chairs. The owners were very easy to work with and replied back within 24 hours. Even though we’ve been used to staying on the beach, the house was a very short walk to the beach. We will definitely be staying there again!!!

This was our first visit to Surf City and this property had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The ocean was still pretty cold, so we spent a lot of our time in the beautiful pool and hot tub. Very close and easy to get to the beach. The home was extremely clean, organized and comfy. My whole family enjoyed our stay and we hope to visit again next year!

We were a family of 11 on school spring break. Three couples and 5 kids. The house is well equipped and well maintained. Super clean. Modern and updated. The layout was perfect for us. Grandparents on first floor, parents and grandkids on second floor with their own tv room and beautiful porch, and two full baths. The property owners were quick to respond to any questions. The beach is right across the street and there are many shops and restaurants in the areas, some within walking distance. A company comes to maintain the pool twice during a one week stay. As a family with children, we enjoyed the beach, the pool, the local playground, the Turtle hospital (buy tickets on line in advance), the beach without waves bayside for fishing and swimming with little ones. The property is well equipped and you don’t need to bring very much with you as there are baby gates, laundry, and beach toys. Just show up and have fun. We did find a few sharks teeth on the beach, were able to fly kites, and building sand castles. Local gift shops and dollar stores sell everything you might have forgotten, so we loved the stress free ability to just show up, relax and enjoy..As a world traveler and RCI exchanger, I was very impressed with this property and felt there was a lot of value in its rental. I highly recommend this location.

We all had a great time during our stay. The pool was a highlight with the cooperation of getting it heated. We enjoyed the beach chairs provided, along with the bicycles. Thank you for a wonderful time.

This spacious home was well stocked with everything we needed. The pool with the slide was a HUGE hit with our whole family! Our almost two year old granddaughter loved playing on the “platform step” in the pool. There were retractable safety gates on the living room level going up and down the stairs, keeping our little ones safe. An upstairs closet had two additional safety gates so we could also block the stairs on the second floor going down. The safety gate and door alarm leading to the pool was added security for anyone with small children. The beach cart allowed us to easily transport all of our gear in one trip across the street to the nearby ocean access. There was plenty of parking space on the property. The multiple decks on both sides of the house offered great views. The home is nicely located within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. There was easy and quick communication with the owners. The house is perfect for families not traveling with dogs.

Being close to town with very convenient beach access makes this very nice house a great place to stay.

Amazing home for our family vacation felt like home. Close to beach, town beautiful pool and hot tub. Definitely an house we would go back to. Erik is a wonderful host always answered any questions we had.

This was our 3rd year renting this house and it was just as special as alwsys. Spotless, well equipped and so comfortable. The walk to the beach was about 1 minute. The pool was fabulous and the owner is very responsove to any questions or concerns. Love it!!! equipped and the locatiin, spwctacular

We had such a great stay in this home. The house was beautiful with modern everything and included everything we needed. It was very clean on our arrival as well and located in a perfect spot with easy beach access. The host made everything easy and kept in touch with us throughout the stay to ensure we had what we needed. We will definitely look to stay here again when we’re back in Surf City.

This was our 4th summer staying at this property, which speaks for itself. Great setup with the pool and proximity to beach. House has everything you can possibly think of for a great week at the beach. No detail missed. Ready to come back next summer!
