The pool is serviced every Thursday! Swim in the pool at your own risk. Pool is open from May 1st - Nov 1st. This property is equipped with pool heat but if you would like to use it, we must be notified 3 days in advance and it will incur an extra fee of $25 a day with a minimum of 5 days. The electric cover does a great job of keeping the heat in allowing us to have the pool open longer but we do have to close it over the Winter season Nov 1st - May 1st. brbr3. Quiet hours for the property are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please keep the noise levels down over this time. No prom events/parties, even if an adult is willing to sign for the minor. Thank you for your understanding.brbr4. Swim at your own risk. Please note, the pool is open from Memorial Day until Labor Day with pool heat available. It is closed for the Winter season after Labor Day. Please be sure to plan your vacation accordingly.brbr5. PET FRIENDLY: We love your furry friends! A fee of $200 per dog must be paid BEFORE the guest arrival date. There is a max of 2 dogs on the property and a max weight of 50 lbs. per dog. Sorry, but no cats or exotic animals are allowed in the home. If evidence of an unapproved (or unpaid for) pet is located on the property, there will be a $500 non-refundable fine. Please clean up after your pet in the yard (bring your own doggy waste bags) and in the home. Additionally, any pet brought to the property must not be left unattended in the home. Hurricane Haven is a wonderful home situated on a beautifully wooded lot in a private section of Riverbend in Lake Lure. The quintessential vacation destination, Hurricane Haven has all the charm and comfort you've dreamed about. Enter into the fully equipped kitchen, which is large enough for any gathering. Read a book in front of the wood burning fireplace adjacent to the dining room in the large rocking chairs. The couch pulls out to a single bed for extra sleeping. Who doesn't like falling asleep to a crackling fire The open floor plan allows friends and family to gather, talk, watch the game, or play a game at the table. The living room has a huge 50” TV for everyone's viewing pleasure, whether it is DVD's, sports, or old classic movies. Maybe even fall asleep on the pull-out sofa. WiFi is now available at Hurricane Haven. French doors allow access to the deck and gas grill. The dining area boasts a large table with extra leafs for special meals. Also off the dining area is door leading to a deck with Adirondack chairs for relaxing while overlooking the back yard. Also on the main floor is master bedroom with king bed, TV, and French doors to deck. A full bath is just off the hall. The lower level consists of an area with TV, rocking chairs, an area for the kids to play, and a table for cards or board games. A wood burning potbellied stove adds to the comfort. French doors also lead out to lower deck. At each side of this room are 2 bedrooms. Both have queen beds, TV's and French doors leading to deck area. There is also a full bath and separate laundry area that round out this level. The large deck area offers chairs to relax, a water feature, and outdoor dining on the deck protruding over the beautiful wooded lot. An adjoining queen bedroom, and an ensuite king bedroom all on the main level. There is a comfortable deck off of the main level with a gas grill and plenty of seating for visiting. We also have a rollable outdoor TV (for those sports fans and such). Enjoy overlooking the private wooded area off the deck and spot some wildlife like deer and turkeys. Downstairs are 2 additional bedrooms, (1) queen and (1) 2 twin beds. There is also a playroom with a twin bed and a single twin bunk bed. This house features a large recreation room on the lower level with an 82” TV, arcade basketball, air hockey, Pac-Man and Simpsons video games. There is also corn hole outside of the lower level and a firepit area. This beautiful resort home has 6 bedrooms, 3 baths, and can sleep 10 comfortably (occupancy is up to 14). Its open floor plan and 2 levels make it convenient for a group and equally nice for families traveling together. There are lots of trees, and nature abounds with this lovely property. You'll find plenty of outside deck and patio spaces to enjoy the outdoors. Please Note *** There are 8 guests passes for the Rumbling Bald amenities. An acre with a large fire pit, two porches and two kayaks for your use, all within Riverbend gated community. If your family includes well behaved dogs they are welcome, but not allowed in the bedrooms. We provide two flat lake kayaks that you can take to the lake and back for your enjoyment. The house is not child proof, and has antiques, but there are children activities for rainy days such as board games, and puzzles. One of the few homes with internet and wifi available in the community and three smart TVs located in Livingroom, Master and Loft (that could move to either upstairs bedroom). DVD, VHS and gaming available. brRiverbend offers a beach, two lakes, river, riverwalk with waterfalls, fishing at the lake or river, 30 miles of dirt roads for biking or walking and a pavilion for lake view BBQ and picnics. Asheville is 40 minutes away and has many fine dining, shops or Biltmore Estate to visit. We are 15 minutes to Tryon Equestrian Center for more dining options and home to this years FEI World Equestrian Games. The area has the highest peak in NC, Mount Mitchell, Chimney Rock State Park or Grandfather Mountain (plus many more) to visit. The unit is located between Apple Valley Golf Course and Bald Mountain Golf Course; just minutes from all amenities .brThis studio is located approximately one mile away from the main amenities. This property does not have a water view. There are no laundry facilities. Rented golf carts cannot be taken to this unit.brbrCANCELLATIONS/TRANSFERS. Requests must be in writing and received by a Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure rental agent. In the event Tenant must cancel this reservation more than 45 day prior to arrival, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made, less a cancellation fee of $50.00. Cancellations that occur within 45 to 15 days prior to arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of 25% of the total reservation charges. Cancellations which occur within 14 days of arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to the amount of the reservation.
