Gorgeous lakefront home with mountain sunset views & hot tub!

What a beautiful home and setting! Comfortable for all ages and spacious both inside and out! Kitchen was fabulous for preparing family meals and the home well stocked. The layout allowed for robust conversation and peaceful moments throughout. Game room, large jacuzzi and fire pit area were especially enjoyed by all. Property is detailed and well-maintained. Setting was absolutely stunning! What great memories were made! Our every expectation met. We can't wait to return!

I have stayed at this property twice and it is my favorite on the Lake. Less than a 5 minute walk to Legends on the Lake and Bald Mountain Golf Course or a 3 minute Kayak paddle. Beautiful views and a beautiful home! The lake is in the process of rebuilding (as of May 28,2025) but Jose and his family take care of their renters well and we had a great time!

Excellent property, with great outdoor space and plenty of room for our large family. We had a blast! The owner responded to all our questions very quickly. Highly recommended!

Our stay here was nothing short of perfection! The house was in the most beautiful location, it was spacious and clean, and the owners were helpful and attentive to our needs. My friends and I enjoyed it so much were are thinking of making this an annual trip! I recommend and give it a 10 out of 10!

We celebrated my wife Jodi's 50th birthday at this incredible property, and it exceeded all expectations. The house is perfectly designed for large groups. We had four families, 12 guests in total, with room for three more kids. Despite the size of our group, the layout ensured plenty of space, and the house never felt crowded. The views from every angle—the screened-in patio, the large kitchen table, and the primary suite—are simply breathtaking, offering stunning panoramas of the lake, mountains, and marina. The outdoor area was a highlight for all ages. The property’s prime location attracted rental boats to float nearby, and the calm waters were perfect for swimming and relaxing off the dock. The flat grassy yard was ideal for yard games and lounging, providing a great space for the kids to play while the adults enjoyed the scenery. Jose is an outstanding host—responsive, attentive, and committed to ensuring a memorable stay. His care for the property is evident in every detail. If you're looking for a perfect place to gather with loved ones, this is it. Our weekend was truly epic, and we can't wait to return!

This house is incredible. 6 stars if it were possible. The only house in Lake Lure that has a big grassy lawn and no stairs needed to get to the lake. The outdoor area is all on the same level -- which was perfect for those with mobility issues including our 80 year-old grandmother and our toddlers. Fully equipped with 4 SUPs, kayak, canoe, inner tubes, floats, umbrellas -- everything you need. Plus a floating lily pad that the kids played on for hours! The inside was immaculate. All bedrooms were modern, comfortable, and clean. The kitchen had everything our extended family needed, two fridges, two dishwashers (very helpful when cooking for 12!). Game room had shuffleboard, pool table, wet bar. It felt like we were staying in a mansion! The owner Jose was super responsive and helpful with everything -- the best VRBO host we've ever had. We've rented houses all over the world (including several in Lake Lure) and this was the best house we've ever stayed at!

We could not have asked for a better place to rent for the weekend with family friends and 6 children! The house is beautifully updated with spacious living areas- even when it rained briefly, we were all comfortable inside. We loved the large lakefront yard, yard games, fire pit for s’mores, paddle boards and floating lily pad. The kitchen is well stocked with ample seating for everyone. Two dishwashers and two refrigerators in the main kitchen were such a perk so we could store all of our groceries easily. We also loved the proximity to Legends on the Lake and Rumbling Bald. Jose could not have been a more accommodating host and went out of his way to speak to my husband about where to rent a pontoon boat in advance. Highly recommend this beautiful and spacious home! We can’t wait to stay again!

The home is lovely! We enjoyed most the paddle boards, porch and front row view of the fireworks on July 4th. The kitchen was very well stocked and beds were comfortable. The new renovation was a great addition. Jose was readily available and easy to communicate with him.

A Beautiful Home with a Great view of Lake Lure and the mountains. Awesome location ( the lake is 1 minute away). Plenty of activities to do: Cornhole, Fishing, Canoeing, Basketball, Playing pool and much more. We had a great time.The Owner and Property manager was very nice. They showed us genuine hospitality. I recommend staying at this property. We would stay again.

We loved our stay here. The upstairs living space is great for groups with two large tables to spread out for meals and games/puzzle. The couch is large and cozy and the gas fireplace was a huge bonus on the chilly mornings. The kitchen is so well equipped - best of all rentals I have stayed in! The appliances were all brand new. 2 fridges and 2 ovens came in handy! The large picture window at the seating table by the fridge was the best - lovely view of the lake and mountains! Fun to watch the boats come in and out of the marina as well as the people on the resort beach across the way. The master bedroom and bath upstairs is so spacious. Smaller rooms downstairs, and the two bathrooms are side by side in the hall. Only downside was one bedroom was further away from the bathrooms across the pool table room. Kids loved the basketball hoop outside, and they were able to play even with cars in the drive. The backyard firepit by the lake is lovely and the dock with lounge chairs was fabulous. Will have to come back in the Summer!
