Nestled between the highway (US 158) and beach road (NC 12) in Kill Devil Hills at MP 10, it is conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, mini golf, and more. Our cottage even backs up to Kill Devil Grill--one of the best restaurants on the beach! brbrGetting to the beach is easy with two nearby accesses...one at Lake Drive a little north, and a parking access at Eighth Street just a little south (still walkable, though). Or walk a footpath north of the cottage... about a 3 minute walk. brbrThe Salty Soul is perfect for a couples retreat, small family, or a quiet friends weekend. The lower level (and entry area) of the cottage has a convenient heated and cooled room with washer and dryer, utility sink, extra refrigerator, and a private toilet. Upstairs features an open living room with a cozy deck overlooking a large fenced in backyard, kitchen & dining area, as well as a large ensuite bedroom that has a king size bed and a bathroom with double sinks, toilet, and a tub shower combo. brbrA queen size bed in a spacious room is on the top floor. Working space is available with desk and chair. This bedroom has a large full bathroom. Off this 2nd bedroom is a walk-through closet leading to the 3rd room that has the full size bed in it and a nightstand with light. Great for the snorer in the family or someone wanting privacy. This small quaint room is best suited for children or 1 adult. brNote: This 3rd room has no windows and accesses the bathroom through the 2nd bedroom. brbrThe outdoor space is spacious under the house, on the back deck, or in the fenced in yard area. You can enjoy eating outside, playing corn hole, or grilling out on the gas grill. Named after our pampered German Shepherd, Tucker’s Treehouse is our dog friendly, fully updated 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom house with a fully fenced back yard and hot tub. The house is a 2 minute walk to the Sound where you’ll catch beautiful sunsets while biking or walking the dog along the water. This is Tucker’s second beach house (spoiled boy!) and it is as meticulously maintained as the first. Check out our other rental Tucker’s Sea Ranch for our excellent reviews.brbrWe created Tucker’s Treehouse because we were disappointed in the options available when traveling with our dog. Either the homes were bare of furniture or dirty with dog hair. You will not find that here at Tucker’s Treehouse. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and providing a great vacation home that has what you need and some extras too! We allow up to two well behaved dogs. No other types of pets are allowed. brbrThe house is a beach box style with double decks and is in a quiet and beautiful residential neighborhood just two blocks from the sound and a couple minutes' drive to the beach. The house is perfect for families or couples traveling with their dog looking for a place to relax.brbrAs you come up the stairs to enter the house, there is outdoor seating for six and a large propane fire pit to enjoy on colder nights. The door opens with a key code so that you will never be locked out.brbrOnce inside you’ll enter into an open floor plan with the kitchen to your left in the living room to your right. All of the furniture is brand new and the kitchen is very well appointed with almost anything you would need to cook and serve for six guests. The living room has a large smart TV (no cable) and beneath it, an electric fireplace. We provide WiFi, at the fastest speed available in the outer banks. brbrThere are three bedrooms, with a king bed in the master and queen beds in the others. The beds have high-quality percale cotton sheets as well as quilts. There are extra blankets and pillows. The master bedroom opens to a balcony and staircase into the yard which is great for letting pup out!brbrThe hallway bathroom has a full tub-shower and the master bathroom is en-suite with a walk-in stall type shower. The towels are high-quality cotton, and there are six bath towels and washcloths provided. We also provide beach towels for each guest.brbrFor pup, there are large, elevated food bowls, dog towels, treats (of course!) and a large crate with crate pad. The yard is fully fenced with a 6-foot fence. brbrFor little ones, we have a pack and play at the house or a full crib available upon request. Also, there is a washer and dryer for your use as well as beach chairs, a beach cart, an umbrella and a cooler. brbrWe are happy to answer any questions about the house and hope you have as many wonderful memories of your time at the beach as our family does!brbrMike, Beth & Tucker...and now little Josephine too!
