Sand Life - Pelican's Upper Deck!

A real treat to stay in a cottage with private beach access for our guests! Ocean views from every room! Simple 1955 layout-2 bedrooms on each side separated by a bathroom between each. Center common area includes kitchen, dining, & living with access to a large deck! Enjoy the 66 year old character-uneven floors & other quirks in the space. The reason you would rent this home is to spend time at the beach & be conveniently located on the line of KH & Kill Devil Hills -get out& explore the OBX!
The space
This space adopted a Hammerhead Shark - Travel with Purpose when you stay with us and assist in global efforts to help save this beautiful endangered species!
If you are looking for a space for 8 that is walking distance to the beach, you have found it! Climb one flight of stairs and you have reached your space! Large older wooden deck, great for sunbathing, gazing at the Atlantic and soaking up the ocean air! Enter dining/living/kitchen thru sliding door from porch. Living room has a TV with ROKU stick. Bedrooms are located in the four corners of the home with one full bathroom on each side!
All bedrooms have ceiling fans. One side of the house has a king bed in one bedroom and a king bed in the other. Between the two bedrooms accessible from the main living area is a full bathroom with tub/shower combo.
The other side of the house has a queen bed in one bedroom and queen in the other. Between these two bedrooms also accessible from the main living area is a full bathroom with a small standing shower.
Enough parking for 2 vehicles.
If your group is larger then 8 there are two other spaces that are available to be rented separately! Inquire with your host if you are interested in these spaces as well!
Guest access
Everything on the upper level is for your use with the exception of the owners closet!
Other things to note
One bath towel, wash cloth, beach towel, and beach chair provided per person !
Private beach access for all Pelican guests is directly across from driveways.
Nearest public beach access is Arch St.
