Easy access in and out of the Ocona Lake Estates community w/ well maintained one lane gravel roads w/ pull outs for passing (though traffic is very light, small community); 2WD vehicles are just fine (nothing overly steep). Cabin’s driveway is on the steeper side, but is fully paved. Guests can park at the top or bottom.brbrCabin sits where the Oconaluftee (Ocona) River (which flows directly out of the Smoky Mountain Nat Park and through Cherokee) meets Ocona Lake on the upsteam side of Ela Dam; a smaller lake that is fertile for Trout fishing among other kinds of fish.
