Perched high on a quiet ridge at the edge of the property, **Watershed Pointe D** represents the pinnacle of modern luxury within Watershed Resort’s exclusive Smoky Mountain Modern collection. This architecturally striking retreat blends industrial-chic design with elevated mountain living, wrapping high-end comforts in panoramic views of Clingmans Dome to the north and the Nantahala Gorge to the west.

Enormous glass walls, soaring sloped ceilings, and exposed beams frame stunning western sunset views. Polished, radiant-heated concrete floors run throughout the open layout, while grand sliding doors collapse to seamlessly merge the interior with a fully covered outdoor patio. Relax inside by the sleek LED fireplace, or step outside to enjoy the propane fire pit with plush seating, an outdoor shower, and a private hot tub overlooking the trees.

**Property Highlights & Layout**

* Downtown Bryson City:** 5 miles east for local shops, restaurants, and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad.
* The Yard Community Hub:** Access to group fire pits, lawn games (bocce, cornhole, ladder ball, horseshoes), and the signature log-zebo with a hanging bed swing.

**Vehicle Access & Mountain Driving**

* Watershed Resort roads are a mix of steep pavement and gravel.
* A high-clearance 4WD or AWD vehicle is strongly recommended year-round** and required during winter months or extreme weather (rain washouts, sleet, leaf-covered roads). Low-clearance sedans cannot access the resort. Refunds are not issued for transportation delays due to road conditions.

**Mountain Stewardship**

* Active Wildlife:** Bear activity is common. All trash must be locked inside secured bins with bungee cords attached at all times. Never leave food in vehicles.

You are tucked away from the world in this cabin! Everything is well stocked and the overall feel of the cabin is homey. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely rebook if we are in the area!

Beautiful property near Nantahala Gorge. Stayed for our honeymoon and came back for our first Anniversary. Exactly as advertised. A few minor issues with supplies, but management was very responsive. Power went out in the area and they had us up on a generator within an hour.

Perfect cabin for just the two of us and our two dogs! Check-in was extremely easy. I will say there were some bright red mushrooms out back, and looked them up which told us they were extremely poisonous. Just FYI for anyone staying that has dogs/kids to look out for them! Not at fault of the host. Beautiful views. Loved the modern style! Definitely recommend NOC to book any adventures you want to take!

We needed a break from all the madness so we escaped to mountains. The property was nice and we live the design. Spiders were plentiful so pest control might be something house keeping should be attending too. Hwy traffic a little noisier than expected but still a great week away from normal life
