Gorgeous views of the west side of Glacier National Park, 30 seconds away, if you're a good swimmer! Just up river is Glacier View Golf Course. It is common to see wildlife pass through the property as they cross into Glacier National Park. This 1700sf log home provides cool temperatures in the summer, warm in the winter. Large picture windows surround the house to take in all the beauty. This location is so quiet, at night, you can hear the rocks being rolled down the river by the current. Secluded, but not remote- one mile from the Park entrance. brbrGuests have repeatedly said that photos do not do justice to the view. The majesty of the surrounding mountains puts into perspective just how small we truly are. It has also been said that getting in and out of the property is much easier than waiting in line to enter rentals within the park.brbrThis is one of the few locations to rent in the winter. This 3500 square foot house sits on 20 acres with 360 degree views of Glacier National Park and the Bob Marshall Wilderness. There is a large open kitchen/great room with timber accents, rock fireplace, and large windows that walk out onto a covered porch and patio with outdoor fire pit. Includes leather couches, large screen t.v., and pool table.brbrThere is an apartment above the garage that is rented separately, called the Glacier Hideaway. The apartment has a separate entrance and is oriented in the opposite direction from the house, so both places maintain their own privacy.brParties or weddings (any event allowing more persons than those renting the house) allowed with written approval from homeowner and come at an additional $3,500 cost, and only opens the property outside of the home to other. You still need to rent a tent, porta potties, tables/chairs, etc. brbrNo one outside of the people staying are allowed without prior approval, and no more than 4 vehicles allowed anytime. Sadly, several renters have used my house as a party place resulting in broken items, additional cleaning and outright disrespect.
