The property was better than advertised. Located near Glacier National Park, Hungry Horse Dam, general store, coffee trailers (amazing coffee by the way) and other sites. Beautiful accomodations with canoe, paddle boat to go out on the lake. Fully stocked kitchen to cook and bbq equipment. At night, it was quiet and minimal light pollution. Being from a city, my wife, daughter and I slept like babies. Cozy, comfy, and relaxing getaway. Customer service was amazing throughout. Would recommend and will probably return in the future.

The log cabin was fantastic!! It was quintessential mountain living on a gorgeous lake. We had a deer visit us in the morning, access to paddle boats, canoes and a fire pit. It was perfectly located for Glacier National Park. Would highly recommend if you are staying in this area!

The property was clean and quiet. The only issue was it is advertised as a lake view property and it’s not… you have to walk around 2 other cabins to see the water. It has great Mountain Views though.

Very enjoyable stay. Small kitchen for those who want to do a lot of cooking, it might be a problem. Steps from Lake Five which was beautiful. This is also very close to the entrance to the park which made our stay much easier. The only negative really for me was the lack of laundry facilities. The property was listed as having a coin laundry which really meant that you had to drive to a nearby laundromat.

This is a great 2 bedroom cabin on Lake Five just a few minutes from the West Glacier entrance to the park, The cabin sits on a lot with two other cabins who share the dock. The lake is not Glacier fed, so the water was warm enough to swim in while we were there. Everything was exactly as pictured in the listing. In addition, there were several small touches like bandaids and a hair dryer in the bathroom and Keurig pods and tea provided in the kitchen that made the stay even more comfortable. My family used the dock, paddle boat and canoe (life jackets and beach towels were provided), and even took a canoe ride around the lake in the morning and we had the lake to ourselves! Cell reception is not great in the area, so be prepared to unplug and enjoy the mountains, lake, and of course GNP while you’re here.

Beautiful property next to a beautiful lake. We really enjoyed swimming in the lake and having access to kayaks at the end of the day. The home location is right outside the park entrance which made it very easy. Trudi is a wonderful hostess and make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved this place. Set on a serene and beautiful lake, it felt like a hidden retreat — yet it’s only six minutes from the entrance to the park. Trudi, the owner, was gracious and kind, making us feel completely at home.We spent our days exploring, then returned to quiet evenings on the deck, watching the sun dip low and the cool breeze ripple across the water. In the early mornings, the stillness of the lake perfectly mirrored the surrounding mountains, and as the sun rose, it set the water on fire, burning away the low-lying mist — a scene straight out of a painting. If you are looking for a place that is peaceful, quiet, and wonderfully picturesque, this property has it all.

Better scenery than conveyed by the pictures! A nice property nestled back in the woods with little to no noise. Being that close to the West entrance made early hikes that much easier. Would come back!

Beautiful upstairs cabin on the lake. We take the canoe out twice and sat next to the lake each evening. It was the perfect end of our vacation in Glacier National Park. The location is perfect for getting in and out of the park quickly. Trudy and Tara were great hosts. We will be back again next year.

Tara, Greg, and Miss Trudi were amazing hosts! Met us at the main lodge and drove us down to the lakehouse to make sure we could find it. The house has everything you might need and more and is right on the water. Beautiful views and an exceptional experience. Definitely recommend!!

Great location. Partial lake view as the owners house sits directly in front of the rental, but still a great view. Very welcoming. The property manager does meet you prior to take you to the home and give a little tour. The homemade brownies were nice. Beds were extremely comfortable and the home is spacious. Was our best sleep out of the five places we stayed while visiting. The lake was awesome! My kids loved going out on the canoe and paddle boat. The only recommendation would be to have some sort of seating for people down there. Even if it’s a few camping chairs. Overall a great stay and would recommend!

To start with, would I go back? Yes, absolutely. Clean, quiet, and a great location. We arrived a little later than planned and through a couple of text messages the check in could not have been easier. Extremely close to the park with easy access to whatever we needed. Having the canoe was a great bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed my early morning or late afternoon paddle sessions. This place was everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed in two different cabins while visiting West Glacier, and after staying here, we wished we had only booked this place. We were a little hesitant to book an over-garage apartment, but we were so excited to see how nice the place was. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing we wished for was a secondary AC for the bedrooms. They got a little warm, but they weren’t too uncomfortable. We also enjoyed taking the canoe out on the lake, which was a nice perk. There is another free standing cabin on the property, which could be great for groups. I don’t believe the main house is for rent though. If you’re looking for total privacy, this may not be for you. The area is peaceful and in a great location!

The property was conveniently close to the west entrance of the park. The lighting was terrible. In the main common area there was one ineffective overhead light with a couple of upright lamps. The lighting was so dim that we were unable to play cards inside the unit. Additionally the stairs were extremely slippery. The sprinkler system had a morning setting which made the stairs slick whenever we departed for the day. The shampoo and conditioner lotions left for our use were expired. The one I used dated back to 2022. I felt the unit lacked any warm, welcoming touches which would’ve been nice particularly given the rates charged for our accommodations.

Wonderful place to stay on the west side of Glacier. The lake was refreshing after hiking all morning. Wonderful patio to relax and play games in the evening.
