The lodge includes 2 bedrooms downstairs, with 2 queen beds in one bedroom and 2 twin beds in the other. There is a bathroom downstairs with a shower/tub combination. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, one with 2 twin beds and the other master bedroom with a single queen bed. The master bedroom has a private balcony. There is a bathroom upstairs with a full shower. The lodge will easily sleep 10 people. The beds have full linens, blankets and pillows. The kitchen is located downstairs and is fully stocked complete with electric stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and all utensils, plates and cups. The upstairs loft over looks the dining room and living room downstairs. A fire ring is setup nearby with a cooking grate and utensils should you desire to cook outdoors over a fire. The lodge is a short walk down to the Fisher River. brbrJust a note about the property - we have another rental cabin on the same property that could be rented by a different party. We ask you to keep this in mind and respect each other.brbrAlso, there are some security cameras on the outside of the lodge looking in various directions (5 cameras). This brand new cozy 2-bedroom cabin nestled in the Kootenai National Forest and surrounded by wildlife is fully furnished with all the comforts of home. The master bedroom has a beautiful queen size log bed with clothes hanging area. The bunkbed room has a twin over full log bunk bed also clothes hanging area. The full kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and all the dishes and utensils you will need. There is also a washer and dryer for your convenience. The living room is complete with a smart tv, DVD player, recliner and a queen size sofa sleeper. There is plenty of comfortable space for you and your family to relax and talk about the day's adventures. There is a large bathroom with a hair dryer, and we supply all the towels and bedding. The heating source is a heat pump with air conditioning and a king heater in each bedroom and the bathroom. Outside there is a wall tent with 2 cots for an outdoor camping experience. Please bring your own sleeping bags. There is a covered fire pit and BBQ area with chairs so you can enjoy it no matter what the weather decides to do. We are pet friendly with prior approval and a fee. We ask that you don't leave your pets unattended in the cabin. We do have an outdoor kennel available with food and water dishes for your furry friends. The beautiful Lake Koocanusa and koocanusa resort and marina is only minutes away where you can enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, or lounging on the beach. The Marina also rents boats and jet skis. Our lakefront cabin is nestled among the pines of Middle Thompson Lake, just a 40 minute drive from Kalispell. A small creek borders the east side of the property, and flows into the lake. We've recently built a second cabin with locally sourced lumber and materials. It turned out wonderful and we think you will enjoy your stay here. brbrThe cabin overlooks the beautiful Kootenai River in Northwest Montana and is located 13.5 miles east of Libby, MT and is only 3 miles below the Koocanusa Reservoir. The cabin is ‘turnkey’ with a queen bed on the main floor, a loft that sleeps 2 (full bed), a well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, books, games, DVD’s and wifi. There is a covered deck to watch the abundant wildlife, a propane grill for barbequeing and a nearby boat launch and fishing access to the Kootenai River.
