We've recently built a second cabin with locally sourced lumber and materials. It turned out wonderful and we think you will enjoy your stay here.
The cabin overlooks the beautiful Kootenai River in Northwest Montana and is located 13.5 miles east of Libby, MT and is only 3 miles below the Koocanusa Reservoir. The cabin is ‘turnkey’ with a queen bed on the main floor, a loft that sleeps 2 (full bed), a well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, books, games, DVD’s

Stayed Sep 11, 2025It was close enough to town, but fairly secluded. The highway it is on is not busy, so just closing the front windows was enough to keep the noise out. We ate almost every meal on the deck.

Stayed Jun 22, 2025We loved the porch, short walk to the water, and we filled the hummingbird feeder! Quiet, relaxing, and really appreciate the book with trails in it! We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean, has wi-fi, heat, a/c, screens, and curtains!!

Stayed May 16, 2024The log cabin in the woods is very warm and cozy. The beautiful Kootenia river is nearby. It's conveniently located near Libby. We were in town to attend the Amish auction.
