Cabin by the river in the woods

This house is absolutely beautiful!! The best VRBO we have ever stayed in. It has everything you could possibly need and more. Beds were awesome and bathrooms had a lot of extras. The deck was perfect to have our coffee in the morning as we watched the deer in the front yard. It is so peaceful and we saw a lot wildlife in the surrounding area. Louie was right there when we had a little trouble opening the door. Super nice guy. It was perfect for my husband, myself, brother and his wife. The property was extremely clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed and in fact ever room was well supplied. We will plan on staying there the next time we are in Libby! Our favorite thing to do was sit in the chairs on the front porch every morning, drinking coffee and watching the deer grazing on the lawn.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this well-appointed cabin. Loved the back and front decks. The only disappointment was that, based on the description of the property, we thought it had access to the river, or at the very least, a view of the river but it doesn't. Regardless, it's very nice, comfortable and clean.

We were here for a field work trip (we are biologists) and this was such a comfortable place to come back to, wash the dirt off, and relax. Everything was very clean, well-thought out, and the beds were so comfy. Beautiful redcedars and Rocky Mountain maples on the property, a deer and fawn hanging out by the porch. The only thing is the river is on the other side of the road and there didn’t seem to be an established trail down, but we also didn’t try too hard to look. Highly recommend.

This was a wonderful place to stay for the 2 nights were were there. It was the perfect place to visit the Kootenai Falls and hike the area.

The host was very responsive. They made the home feel warm and inviting. The kitchen was well equipped and welcoming. The cleanliness was fantastic. The only cons for me was the trains across the river and that due to trees couldn’t see the river well from the house. I would highly recommend this home. It made for a comfortable, relaxing getaway.

Our stay was lovely. The house was beautiful and super clean. They provided everything you could possibly need in a kitchen for cooking. It was much appreciated. You can tell they take great care of their home and property. Very well maintained!

We keep coming back becaure we love this place. All the wildlife! Deer, Turkeys, Big horn sheep! The house is always clean and ready for us. We plan to return next year.

This was the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed at. There were three bedrooms and two bathrooms and every room was really comfortable and beautiful. We loved the kitchen and gas fireplace. We also loved the outdoor space. There were always deer and fawns on the property. Very private and comfortable. I would recommend guests bring earplugs for sleeping though because the train comes through several times throughout the night.

was great but photos were a little deceiving. thought the river was in the property not across the road and down a steep bank through chest deep grass. can’t even see the river from the property

This property was very nice. We had everything we needed and more! We visited the Kootenai River falls and the Ross Creek Cedar park during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was immaculate and had everything we needed. We lived all of the personal touches…made it feel like home away from home!

My husband and I along with our daughters and in-laws traveled to Libby for our son's wedding and a week of relaxation. We found the home to be well suited with everything we needed to relax at the end of the day. The extremely comfortable beds were a nice surprise as well! Every morning we were greeted with deer in the yard and every evening we enjoyed the peacefulness of the night air while sitting on the porch. Considering there are limited restaurants in the area, we were able to cook most of our meals right at home! We fell in love with the area and plan to come back soon!

This was an incredible stay! The house was beautiful and tucked into the trees! We all couldn’t get enough of how beautiful the property was.

I think this was our fourth stay at the cabin in the woods, and as always, it was wonderful. Wish we could’ve spent more time relaxing on the porch and watching for deer and sheep, but it was a busy weekend with family. This is our favorite little getaway spot in Libby, and we’ll be back.

Overall well stocked with everything we needed! The beds and bedding were very nice, and comfortable. Beautiful clean home!
