The sound of the Yellowstone River lulls you to sleep while visions of trout dance at the end of your line...you wake up and it's not a dream-you are really there!!!brbrThis wonderful and spacious cabin is right on the Yellowstone River, just minutes away from Yellowstone National Park and the Roosevelt Arch entry at the north entrance to YNP, and close to Mammoth Hot Springs, mountain biking and all the wildlife you can imagine. brbrThe Grizzly Den Cabin on the Yellowstone Riverfront is self-contained with wilderness furnishings in the living area, crisp linens, towels, books, SMART TV (must have your own access codes for Netflix and the like). WIFI access, washer & dryer, a complete fully-stocked kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, range, regular coffeemaker, coffee and teas, spices and sauces, an outdoor gas grill and a wonderful covered patio for relaxing after a day of hiking, horseback riding or rafting on the Yellowstone River. Restaurants and local shopping are within ten minutes driving distance and Chico Hot Springs Spa & fine restaurant are a half hour away. Or just enjoy a BBQ on the patio, a marshmallow roast at the shared fire pit or a relaxing stroll down our rural (gravel) road, away from the noises of the city. brbrThis Yellowstone cabin is a delightful place from which to navigate your Yellowstone National Park vacation, and you can even walk to the park directly from our driveway, only (approx) 1500 feet away. The Roosevelt Arch (North Entrance is 4.5 miles from the cabin). Access to the cabin is via a gravel road, maintained by Yellowstone National Park & Park County. This road can be rough at times and recommend adjusting driving speed to accommodate road condition. brbrJust under 48 miles to Livingston, and 1 1/2 hours from Bozeman Airport, the location is convenient yet very private, despite the other cabins on the property. Feedback, both in our guest book and online, for our cabin has been consistently wonderful, with our most recent guests saying our 'river home, not really a cabin, was over the top!' brbrPlease join us for your Yellowstone National Park and cabin on the river vacation. The property does have exterior cameras to for the protection and safety of our property and guests. Many times the elk will eat right outside the patio and bed down for the day. Please do not approach or feed any of the wildlife. Yellowstone River Lodge 2 is a hand built log cabin adjacent to listing #89227. There are 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a walkout to river and a deck overlooking river. It has a big, open kitchen with center island, (great for gatherings), gas fireplace and central air and heating. The lodge is available year round and is handicap accessible and perfect for large groups. We handle all of our bookings-no property manager. We look forward to hearing from you !brbrWe are located on the Yellowstone River, 10 miles north of Gardiner, MT- the oldest entrance to Yellowstone Park. This is a beatuiful and convenient location for visiting Yellowstone Park and the surrounding area. There are many other activites to do and see in the area such as horseback riding, hiking, fishing, river rafting, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and hunting. All of these activites are available in the nearby upper Yellowstone Valley. brbrThis area is a beautiful place to visit any time of year. Winters in the Gardiner are usually pretty mild. The road through the northern part of Yellowstone to Cooke City is open year round. The most scenic part of the Park offers unlimited wildlife viewing, particularly of elk, bison and the famous Yellowstone wolves. There is snowmobiling and cross country skiing in the mountains above Gardiner, Cooke City and in the Park. Downhilll skiing is also available nearby at Bridger Bowl and Big Sky. brbrWhile we do have a no refund policy, we do always try to work with our guests. We will give you a refund If we know far enough in advance and are able to rebook your dates. We will also give you a refund If Yellowstone Park is closed for any reason during your stay with us. We highly recommend that you buy trip insurance as a precaution for the possibility of a natural disaster, such as the unprecedented flooding we had this year. We are also willing to transfer your deposit for another date within the next year, if you need to cancel. The reason we have this policy is to discourage cancelations a week or 2 before their stay. Then it is hard for us to rebook.
