We do have occasional black bears, and their babies wander through the property, so making certain to not leave food or garbage outside is a requirement. The bears are fun to observe as the wander through the property, you will just want to make sure to keep at a distance from them, as they are wild, and we are living in their habitat.brOur property provides some walking opportunities, both in the woods, and throughout the Meadowlake resort neighborhoods. Many people bicycle and walk on Tamarack Lane and on the back road all the way to Whitefish, however we don't recommend it due to the lack of a bicycle lane or decent shoulder. Generally, you must have a vehicle to get around the area and an SUV is ideal. If you are visiting in the winter months 4-wheel drive is strongly suggested if not a requirement.
