Your vacation starts here! Unpack and settle in after choosing one of three bedrooms. This house offers many amenities as shown in the photographs. Bedroom 1 is the Master with a King bed. Bedrooms 2 & 3 each have queen beds. This house has 2 bathrooms upstairs and a half bath on the first floor. brNo animals please. The Jacuzzi is offered during specific times of the year. Some exceptions apply.brbr This high-end home is everything you see, but what you can't see are the many activities located in a small radius with this house at the center! Borrow the included bikes and take a left out of the driveway to get to the bike path. 2 miles north is the Echo Lake Cafe. This breakfast/ lunch eatery has been around forever and that is a testament to it's popularity! 2 miles further is the turn off for Jewel Basin. This is a gorgeous hiking area for hikers of all abilities. There are spectacular views, mountain lakes, mountain goats and beautiful foliage. br 1 more mile further is Echo Lake. The warmest, cleanest, and best water-skiing happens here. It's very calm so this lake is also recommended for: fishing, swimming, snorkeling, playing, and using the included three kayaks to glide through it's waters. It's fun to explore all the inlets, bays and islands. brbr Turn right from the driveway and it's a nice 1 mile walk/ bike/ drive to the Swan River and it's bridge. Or instead, walk down the steep driveway to one of the neighborhood restaurants for a local meal.brbrThe land is rugged, natural Montana terrain. This is an amazing place for families and children to experience, however the surrounding area is not safe for toddlers or young children to wonder around unsupervised. Not only are parts uneven and steep, but there has been a black bear (beautiful and non-aggressive) and at night, cougars, spotted on the property in the past.brbrThere are ruins from an old stone homestead in the front yard and the once indoor fireplace still stands and is available to use. This fireplace is a great place to gather in the evenings for marshmallow roasting and good conversation. Who doesn't love an outdoor fire We already set up some chairs and a table for you.brbrWe own over 120' of private lake access right in front of our house across the road. There is also a public access point for our neighborhood just a few hundred feet down the road which is a great place to put in a kayak or SUP. It is also a place many families enter for swimming as well. IN ORDER TO ACCESS THE WATER FOR SWIMMING ON OUR PROPERTY, ONE MUST DESCEND A NATURAL STAIRCASE MADE FROM BOULDERS ON THE RETAINING WALL. THERE IS NO RAILING SO IT MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR SOME PEOPLE.brbrFrom the back of the house, there are hiking trails that lead to lakes for fishing or swimming. These trails are very private as the state lands surrounding our land are almost impossible to access from anywhere other than our property. Where else can you have millions of acres of solitary hiking right out your door Don't forget your compass and bear spray!brbrThe master bedroom suite has beautiful views of the lake and was just renovated with a beautiful modern bathroom.brbrThere is a bunk room with 2 bunk beds each equipped with a trundle bed sleeping a total of 6. We also have a sleeper sofa in that room that could easily sleep an adult or 2 small children in addition. This room is great for kids and a good place for them to chill together in the evenings so the parents can have some grown-up time together in the living room.brbrThere is a very comfortable queen bed in the cozy 3rd bedroom. This bedroom also houses the washer and dryer. The 2nd bathroom is a full bathroom and situated in a small hallway between this room and the bunk room.brbrThe living/dining/kitchen are all together in an open plan living space with spectacular lake views. There is a smart TV with streaming services such as Netflix and a DVD player with lots of movies to choose from.
