What we love about this property is the proximity to Lake Michigan. A short walk has you on a beautiful stretch of pristine beach along the clear water of the Big Lake. Our favorite activity is to pack up and spend the day at the beach, enjoying the sunshine and water. The sunsets are spectacular as well. When we've had enough of the beach, and really that never happens ;), we have a hard time deciding whether to go North or South. To the South of us, there is Silver Lake and the sand dunes. Craig's Cruisers is always a good time, and The Frickin' Chicken has really good food. A new fave of ours is The Golden Sands Golf Course and Bucket Bar. Great food and great atmosphere! To the North is Pentwater. We love strolling through the many shops and have not found a bad restaurant yet. Our favorites are The Brown Bear and The Antler Bar. When we are not in the mood to explore we love relaxing on the deck with a cold beverage. Every night is spent around the campfire underneath a glowing canopy of stars. We provide one duraflame log that will provide a fire for around 3 hours or more during your stay and one stack of wood for the fire pit outside. With a deck and a spacious plot by the water, this group of cottages is perfect for large groups and family memories! brbrThe three cottages are named Wuzgonna, Persnickety and Bugaboo, respectively. All three have their own tv/living area, lakeside deck with great views, and a fully-equipped kitchen and outdoor gas grill.brbrWuzgonna is the largest of the group, with two bathrooms and three bedrooms. There is one bedroom with a king-size bed, one bedroom with two queen beds as well as a futon, and one room with a full/twin size bunk bed.brbrPersnickety is adjoined to Wuzgonna and can be closed off for separation or left open. We are located only 2 miles from the dune entrance and our driveway is large enough to accommodate your dune toys. We do own the property next door (property id # 993063) so if you are traveling with a large group, you can reserve both places if available. No tents or campers allowed. This is a quiet neighborhood, please be respectful of the close neighbors. Please be aware that this is pet-friendly and has beach sand surrounding it. You may find a stray dog hair or traces of sand even though this place is cleaned by a professional cleaning company and laundry is professionally cleaned. If that is unacceptable to you, please find another house to rent. This one isn't for you.
