Beautiful country setting, cabin had everything, including a fenced yard for the dogs! We had a wonderful time!

This house was everything we hoped it was. April makes sure her guests are well taken care of. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This was our second time at Northern Memories if that tells you anything. Place was great and very clean. April went above and beyond this time once I told her this time was part of my honeymoon week. She created some personalized artwork for us and even helped set the mood with rose pedals, champagne, and chocolate dessert. Fantastic experience and I will continue coming here for years to come!

A great place to unwind and enjoy the great white north! Clean, well-stocked, and perfect for a weekend--or more--getaway. We can't wait to head there again.

We had a wonderful stay, host was very welcoming and had everything we could possibly need there.

April was amazing. She gave clearly laid out instructions for getting there, running the place, and cleaning up. The place was clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked, and the jacuzzi tub was amazing, as was the fireplace.

This was a great place for a relaxing weekend getaway. The hot tub and fire place were great. Owner provided lots of extras you normally wouldn’t see. Will definitely keep this in mind for future getaways.

Home was clean! Family and dog friendly . Fenced in yard for dog to play. Kids loved the jacuzzi and their rooms. Host left thoughtful goodies for kids, dessert and our dog!!

The cabin was cozy. The hot tub was amazing and much needed!The weather outside was frightful (2 degrees), but the fire was SO delightful We absolutely LOVED our stay here.Thank you.

Host had special treats when we arrived. Everything was well placed , and comfy. Jacuzzi was wonderful. Did receive over 15 snow the first night, gost had driveway plowed right away.

Had a wonderful relaxing long weekend!! The home is very cozy and I really liked they had nice clean water don’t always get that up north!

The cabin came as advertised. This was our second stay. The hosts do a really fine job in making guests feel welcomed, and we enjoyed the well appointed kitchen. The hot tub was a fine way to end the day for two old people and a young bird dog chasing grouse during the day.

Great place to stay at. Very clean. Host communicates well. Always leaves a nice welcome baked good. Second time staying there.

This place is clean, comfortable and has everything you need to get away and relax. The hot tub was wonderful! The fireplace made a cozy setting. The hosts are so thoughtful! It was our anniversary and we walked in to a nice note and special treats. They go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and have a nice stay!

Our four day stay was wonderful…..everything was so clean and organized, and the house head all sorts of extras that eliminated trips to the store. We so appreciated that!

Everything is perfect for our family and dogs. We absolutely love the cabin decor, well stocked amenities and great location.

It was a very romantic weekend! We were staying for our anniversary and we were only a 10 minute drive from downtown grayling and the cabin was so much bigger than I thought it would be. It was nice to curl up next to the fire place and go in the jacuzzi while watching a movie. It was the perfect weekend.

Exactly everything needed was there.. Very clean.. Relaxing and enjoyable.. The family will be back..

The inside is pristine, very cute up north decor throughout the house. Hot tub and fireplace are definitely a plus! Close enough to town but far enough to be in nature. Love the window with the bird feeders outside. Saw many birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and a rabbit. Very relaxing place to be!

We had a perfect relaxing weekend getaway. The cabin was very cozy and the hosts were very kind and easy to communicate with. We would stay there again!

My wife and I were incredibly pleased with how clean and adorable, Northern Memories is. With its very private setting, jacuzzi for two and the fireplace, this cabin is the perfect place to rest, relax and reconnect. The fenced in yard is another huge plus that just sets Northern Memories above anything else. On top of all that, your hosts, April and Charlie do an amazing job of making you feel welcomed. We HIGHLY recommend it and will be visiting again!

They have done an amazing job making their location romantic and welcoming. We had a nice vacation reconnecting and relaxing.

My husband and I and the dog wanted to have a white Christmas. We love going to Michigan and when we found this place, we booked it. When we had any questions or concerns on our stay, the host was very quick and detailed with any questions we have. Our check-in was was easy and delightful to get into the house. Our dog had a fresh homemade biscuit and blankets as well as labels for us to figure out what light switches were which it was easy to be and stay at very clean. We also got the snowmobile some so this is really a perfect stop for anyone family couples letters. The town of Grayling is wonderful. We always enjoy going. We would definitely recommend this place as well as stay here again ourselves.

The cabin is always clean and inviting. April leaves a nice note and a welcome gift for us and our dog. We love the hot tub, quiet location, the backyard is great with having a dog. We can't wait to go back for a fifth visit.

We have stayed at Northern Memories many times and will continue to as long as we can. Our dog loves the backyard and we love the cleanliness ,hospitality ,great location and everything about the cottage.

We enjoyed a hike in Hartwick Pines and then an evening with a fire and jacuzzi. Very nice stay!

First, I am big on first impressions. When we got there the VIBE was magical outside. Let me tell you about the inside: Everything was immaculate, well thought out for extreme comfort, decorated beautifully, just everything you could possibly need. Fireplace for winter. Bedrooms so cute. The bar alcove with the jacuzzi was darling. You can open the windows there and listen to their music system from outside. My husband was liking the recliner and TV a bit too much! The backyard was so fun and perfect! Chairs, cushions, picnic table with umbrella, oversized great firepit, wood to split, fenced in with deer lights (saw a deer at night), we got suet and saw birds we don't have down state, horseshoe pit. Yard is large, private surrounded by trees with neighbors comfortably away but lights at night to know someone is nearby. Really can't say enough about this lovely getaway home. 100% Recommend! 10 stars! Thank you so much April & Charlie!
