It is 45 minutes to Winter Park skiing, 30 minutes to Granby Ranch skiing, and 30 minutes to the Hot Sulfur Springs Resort, all a flat easy drive. It is also just a mile from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. In the winter, Grand Lake is known for ice fishing and snowmobiling. Grand Lake has two small grocery stores, several restaurants and shops, a repertory theater, miniature golf, regular golf, boat rentals, snowmobile rentals, ice skating, and a small go-cart track, some of these are open based on the season. Per HOA regulations, this cabin must be rented in 28 day or more increments. The tree house in the back yard is not available for use. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
