Light Filled - Tranquil Space In West Denver Neighborhood

The property is located on a dead-end street and faces west toward the Rocky Mountains which can be seen in the distance. The property is situated in the City and County of Denver and adjacent to Garfield Park on the north and west. It, therefore, has no neighbors on the north and west affording additional privacy. The large 10,500 sq ft. lot with a brick ranch style structure is set back from road. The property has mature shade and flowering trees, a driveway and a one-car garage with additional off-street parking. The back yard is fully fenced and features outside decks with 'stadium stairs', deck chairs and outdoor propane fire pit. The first floor is approximately 1000 sq ft with updated interior. All interior doors are cherry wood with frosted glass. Hardwood floors are present throughout. The main bedroom, second bedroom/study, bathroom, dining room. and living room are located on the first floor. The sizeable furnished main bedroom has a queen size bed, blackout curtains, a large closet and a glass french door for bedroom entry. The second furnished bedroom has an armoire for clothing and doubles as an upstairs study with a futon couch that can be opened to a full size bed. The elegant, european style travertine tiled walk-in shower bathroom has a rain shower head, a beautiful, unique stone wash basin and a large medicine mirrored cabinet. The newly remodeled kitchen features stainless steel GE Pro Appliances, basalt mosaic tile and quartz countertop. The finished basement contains rooms for the washer and dryer, an additional tiled bathroom with shower/tub and sitting room/work/study room with an electric fireplace. The basement room has a legal egress window. The house has an High-Speed Xfinity WIFI and ADT security system installed with sensors on the garage door, exterior windows and door plus interior motion detectors. Use of alarm system is mandatory, in accordance with house insurance policy. This is a non-smoking property. Therefore smoking of any sort is not permitted inside the structure. The house is modern, clean and tranquil. The solid walls are effective at insulating from outside city noise. You will find a peaceful retreat in this house with its updated, modern and open space. Three sets of french doors face east affording a walkout to the large back deck with chairs and 'stadium stairs' for private morning or evening relaxation. In addition, there is Pergola Deck that overlooks Garfield Park with an outdoor propane fireplace to gather around for chilly evenings. The large back yard is fully fenced. There is an automatic sprinkler system and a lawn person that mows the yard every two weeks. The house uses an evaporative cooler for summer climate control and a programable thermostat for winter heating.
