It is also just minutes away from the Arkansas River, Barbara Whipple Trail, a skate park, and other beautiful parks. Main Street offers many quaint shops, specialty bars and taverns, and even a splash park. Buena Vista is also a destination for a variety of festivals, so if you are visiting during one, be sure to go!brbrWithin a few minutes by vehicle, you can reach the North Cottonwood Trailhead for hiking or biking on the Colorado Trail. There are also multiple whitewater rafting companies who navigate the waters of the Arkansas River, or you can launch your own kayak at the town put-in and test your skills at the whitewater play park.
