There are extra blankets/pillows in the closet.brbrFurther down the hall is the spa bathroom complete with tub/rain shower, vanity space for 2 and a glass pedestal sink. The shower is lined in slate style ceramic tile trimmed in slate and limestone and the vanity area and back splash are glass mosaic tile. The beach on the left is for people and the beach on the right is Kairo's favorite spot, a unique off-leash area for dogs to run, swim and socialize! brbrWe are happy to share that with San Diego's new Community Power options our home is now powered by 100% renewable energy sources. brbrWorth noting: brLike all of Ocean Beach and much of Mission Beach we are less than 10 miles from the airport, so planes do travel overhead. We have insulated the walls and roof of our property, and the City of San Diego requires that take-offs and landings cease between 11:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. Most guests say they seldom notice the planes inside the unit though for some guests they’re a mixed blessing. However, watch the skies closely and you could catch a glimpse of a fighter jet from nearby Miramar Air Force base which was the setting for Top Gun.

Cozy and remodeled 1 bedroom 1 bath upstairs condo with all the amenities. Located in the eclectic town of Ocean Beach, this contemporary furnished condo has direct access to a beautiful shared ocean front patio where you can relax and watch the amazing San Diego sunsets. This building sits on a small bluff directly overlooking the tide pools, and ocean below. The patio also has a great view of the famous Ocean Beach pier, and surrounding coastline. The unit is located in the rear of the building with no ocean view, but only a 50 foot or so walk to the ocean front patio. Parking is behind our yellow building in the upper lot #3 spot. The unit also is fully equipped with air conditioning.

Quaint cottage, literally ON the beach. Open the front door and step into the sand of Ocean Beach. The beach is HUGE and open in front of you. brbrThe cottage has been freshly painted and decorated. It's the perfect place for a great time away. A QUEEN size bed in the bedroom and a TWO fold down FULL size sofa beds in the living room provide sleeping for 4 adults comfortably if there is one adult per sofa bed. You might be able to sleep a couple kids on each sofa bed, increasing the capacity to 6 in theory. There is also a twin size air bed in the closet for your use.brbrThere is a window mounted air conditioning unit in the bedroom and a portable space heater just in case our (rare) 50 degree nights are too chilly for you. brbrA full size fridge and gas range will come in handy for any cooking or cooling you want to do. The kitchen has a microwave & a coffee maker as well. Outside the kitchen door is a nice size side yard accessible only to your unit in which you can BBQ or just relax without being in the public mix out on the sand. brbrThe private garage is for your use alone and is the primary entrance to the property. There is a key code on the door and simply walk through the garage and through the side yard to enter through the side kitchen door OR you can go through the sand along the front of the cottage to enter through the front door.brbrThere is a washer & dryer in the garage for your use. In the garage you will also find beach chairs, a small cooler & a beach umbrella which you can use during your stay. brbrIn addition to the full sized shower in the bathroom, there is an outdoor shower in the side yard in case you want to take a quick rinse off before you head back inside.br
