How did I fit all of the essential comforts of home into about 500 square feet without it feeling cramped or cluttered I think my space is cozy, relatively quiet and very relaxing.brI really did try to think of every desirable convenience so please let me know what I'm missing in your home away from home.brbrNow outside, on a warm sunny day I think you would enjoy sitting outside behind the gate inconspicuously watching the neighborhood traffic pass by. People walking, jogging or bike riding to the nearby Park, Dry Cleaners, Laundromat, Whole Foods Market, Berkeley Bowl organic food store and a host of other quirky storefront places that are sprinkled throughout the neighborhood. Including the tailor shop and men's clothing store right next. door. Right on the corner there is a Subway Sandwich Shop, an awesome Gourmet Pizza / Bakery, a Corner Convenience Store too.brGuest accessbrGuest have access to everything behind the gate with the exception of one cabinet in the kitchen I use for storage.brOther things to notebrThe space is newly remodeled. Everything has been updated except for the cold tile floors. With that said you maybe the first to use something so your feed back sent directly to me would be helpful so I can make the necessary adjustments for the next guest.brbrRegarding the gate I am aware that coming in and out can be cumbersome especially with bags in hand. Open both wooden gates inward all the way to make it easier to get in and out of the security door. The security door must be shut to close the wooden gate doors. I extended the gate as far out onto the sidewalk as the property line would allow me to in in order to provide separation and security. I have really grown to love it.

This room also has built in closets with ample storage and extra bedding. Also, there are some games in the closets, available to use.brbrThe bathroom was recently renovated and has a shower over tub. It's clean and nicely appointed. The eat in kitchen is set with a small table for 2, that also has a leaf to expand out to seat 4. The kitchen is fully equipped with all your basic cooking tools and utensils. It has a full refrigerator and freezer, full oven with stovetop, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker.brbrOur neighborhood has a great sense of community and is very walkable, with many restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops all within a few minutes. We have a Trader Joe s market and Safeway grocery store within walking distance. And every Saturday you can walk a few blocks to the Grand Lake Farmers Market, which is the best market in the area, hands down! There, you will find organic produce, a variety of foods and entertainment. It is also a quick 15 minutes to downtown San Francisco and only 10 minutes to historic Jack London Square in Oakland, by car. The AC Transit buses run to the Ferry Terminals at Jack London or to BART, so it is easy to get around with or without a car.
