Rented the home for a week and what a wonderful experience! Stacy is on site and very helpful without being intrusive, home is clean and very well equipped! We ate breakfast every morning on the beautiful deck...neighborhood is friendly and whilst there is an occasional unhoused person..neighborhood is safe!, cant wait to stay again!!

We had a great stay in this lovely home! There is so much great living space with loads of kitchen amenities and appliances, two spacious bedrooms and a nice quiet space with a pullout couch. There's a front porch and back patio/deck overlooking back yard. Our family of four (two teens) were very comfortable, and the location was fantastic. We loved exploring Oakland, Berkely, and SF, and the public transportation is easy and super close to the house.

We were welcomed and given a tour of the home with its history, Stacy was very welcoming and a fantastic host.The home was beautiful decorated and very clean. Our beds were extremely comfortable. The weather was cold, however we were cosy and warm in the home.Would recommend to anyone visiting the Bay Area and not wanting the stay in the hustle and bustle of the city. It is only a short commute over the bridge to Pier 39.

Host Stacy is AMAZING! The property is clean, warm & inviting with a full kitchen and an easy walk to Prescott market. Sunday I ordered lunch from a burger place in Prescott market and was delighted to find a farmers market right outside. I was in town to meet some of my art group friends for Jermaine Roger’s Hiding Places Art Show that opened at Haight Street Art Center on Friday October 17th. It runs through Dec 14th. Saturday was TRPS at Hall of Flowers Golden Gate Park. I didn’t take many photos of the property but I can say the ones posted on VRBO don’t do it justice. Way better in person and a very comfortable deck in back. I would definitely stay here again!

Clean & comfortable historic home in West Oakland, easy walking distance to Pioneer Market cafes/coffee/events and Oakland Ballers games. We had a great time and Stacy was a fantastic host. Definitely would stay again next time I'm in the area!

Stacy was a very attentive host. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. 8 Uber from the BART station. The home was immaculate. If we're ever in the area, again, we'd be delighted to stay there again.

Area was on the rundown side but we had no problems at all. House very secure, and had everything we needed. Stacy was on hand to answer any questions or issues. Only problem we had was it says 3 bedrooms but the third one is a pull out single bed in the area between livingroom and kitchen and had no door leading to kitchen so my daughter didn't have much privacy.

I cannot recommend this home and host enough. The second you walk in you can feel the stresses of travel shed off. The home was top tier. Everything was clean, spacious, amenities and instructions easily accessible, the home is located perfectly to access all the local sites, 10/10. The host is such a wonderful person. She welcomed us with open arms, we felt like family as soon as we got here. There is a lot of love put into this home and you can feel it the second you walk in. For a lack of better words, it was healing after a long travel day and even longer stressful year before. You are truly cheating yourself if you don't choose this location for your stay. We are already planning our next trip to come back and stay again. Thank you again Stacy for all of your care and support during our stay!

great place to stay , used the Bart to go in to sab francisco daily much easier than driving . left the car parked on the drive no issues. Quiet area on the out skirts.Lovely home ,great size kitchen ,lounge and garden .Hosts polite and friendly.

Stacy was amazing!! She went above and beyond to help accommodate our last minute trip changes (related to airline issues). The house is super nice! Very clean. Kitchen well stocked with everything you could need beyond fresh or refrigerated items. There is a Target 5 minutes from the rental to get the rest.

The host is fabulous and greeted us upon arrival to do a walk through in the home. The home is well appointed and beautiful and clean. Only drawbacks were we were required to purchase insurance which you don't find out until you go through the steps of booking the home. I don't mind that being a requirement, but I just wish I'd known before starting the rental process. Also, we couldn't do laundry after 8:00 p.m.and since we were sightseeing all day, we were unable to do any laundry. Thankfully, our next place had a washer/dryer, too, or it would have been an issue for our family. I highly recommend booking this home. You won't regret it!!!

Great stay, easy check in and great service with host

My kids felt comfortable and had their own space, but we were still all together. The back seating patio area was so wonderful, especially for morning coffee. So much better than cramming into a hotel room. Host was friendly and available for question

The house was beautiful, host was attentive and understanding due to last minute concert cancelation, she was still able to work with us last minute

I came into town for work and combined it with a fun weekend with my kids. Our host couldn’t have been more wonderful. Location and amenities were great and hope to return again soon.

The home is cosy and the host is super friendly. However, there is not a really third room but a single sofa bed which is not comfortable. Also, the host is living downstairs and will occasionally give you some advice when necessary.

Spent a long weekend in Oakland and this home was the perfect location to access San Fran and Oakland things to do!

Stacey was very available & quickly responsive. Even with our late arrival, she greeted us & gave us the run of the home. Excellent location, close to shopping & restaurants.

Home was close to Bay Bridge. Great having driveway for our own parking space. home very nicely and comfortably furnished. She had almost every imaginable appliance and useful kitchen items. Be aware there are no outlets near either of the beds. Otherwise we loved it.

We had a great stay in Oakland. The host Stacy was responsive, welcoming and helpful. The home is exactly as pictured. The home is very clean and fully stocked with towels and bedding. We would love to stay again in the future.

Home was very convenience and close to all of the main tourist spots where we wanted to visit. It was nice to go and see everything, but then come back to a home that was warm and welcoming

Lovely spot. Perfect except for two things: although I told host of my citrus allergy there was a machine pumping citrus aroma into the house so it is a good thing my bro areived first to air out house. And thebattery needs to be changed on thermostat. Lovely time though!
