You'll never want to leave!brbrWe are superbly located just steps away from the beaches, shopping, restaurants, bars and all the recreational activities like swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, parasailing, basketball, volleyball and the many great sightseeing tours which are available. We are also a very short, 2 minute level walk from the boat dock.brbrDuring the day, we are right in the middle of all the activity Avalon has to offer; full of hustle and bustle. And nearly everyone who takes the ferry walks right past our property, so if you enjoy people watching, you'll be in heaven. At night however, after the 'day trippers' go home and the businesses below us close, it is pretty calm and quiet. brbrOur beloved home is 110 years old, but it is well cared for, comfortable and cozy. It's a classic beach house where couples and families will make lasting memories. BUT if you need a room service Mariott hotel type experience then you should go look elsewhere. brOur superior location and wonderful and spectacular view decks is what attracts guests to us year after year. Several of our regulars have been coming for more than 20 years. THERE IS NO FINER SPOT FOR A FAMILY VACATION OR A COUPLES GETAWAY. br brThis unit is located on the middle floor of a 3 story property. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. This unit is 14 steps up from the ground. On the ground floor are 2 clothing/gift shops, an electric bike rental, a snorkel rental, and a psychic. brbrThis Middle Floor Unit sleeps 8. We do not have air conditioning, although it's needed as much at the beach and we do have 2 sets of sliders and portable fans. We also do not have a golf cart. They can be rented by the hour 200 feet away. brbrOn the ground floor are a couple retail clothing shops, an electric bike rental, a snorkel rental and a psychic. The middle floor (14 steps up) is our larger vacation rental (vrbo #65480) and this unit is on the top (3rd) floor 14 additional steps up from the middle unit. The stairs leading from the middle to the top floor are 36 wide, in case that is an issue for you.brbrDuring the day we are right in the middle of all Avalon has to offer; hustling and bustling with activity. And virtually everyone who takes the ferry walks right past our property, so if you are a people watcher or enjoy seeing all the activity in the harbor; you'll be in heaven. At night however, after the 'day trippers' go home and the businesses close, everything calms down around us. br brThis unit is like a small 1 bedroom apartment and offers a separate bedroom with queen bed, a remodeled bathroom with stall shower, a remodeled fully stocked kitchen and a small living room with small table & chairs and sofa. The living room has a TV and 2 sets of sliding glass doors that open onto the LARGE WRAPAROUND DECK WITH SPECTACULAR 210 DEGREE VIEWS. There is a gas BBQ on the side deck. BBQ and dine on the deck while you enjoy spectacular views. We also have free wireless internet access. brbrOur beloved home is 110 years old and sound can travel between floors. Access a large private balcony through sliding glass doors, where you can sit and eat while you admire the scenery. The kitchen is fully stocked with essential appliances and plenty of counter space. Continue through the top floor to enter the master bedroom and master bath. Stow all of your belongings in the very spacious closet, and enjoy a comfortable night's sleep on the large king bed.brbrStair access to lower level is by the front door, which will lead you down to the other two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. Whether going to the beach, going to one of Avalon's great eateries, shopping, golfing, boating, snorkeling/diving, parasailing, or just sightseeing, this is the vacation home for you! brbrA beautiful mediterranean style home, with a warm and modern beach style interior. The master bedroom has a Cal King bed, fireplace, and deck. brbrThe second bedroom upstairs has two twins and a full. brThere is a full bathroom in between the bedrooms. The washer and dryer are also on this level.brbrThe first floor bedroom is a queen with an additional full bath. There is also a queen sofa sleeper with a new Cool Comfort mattress as of 7/2021. brbrThe living room, kitchen, and dining area are open and great for entertaining. There is another fireplace on this floor. brbrThe kitchen is fully stocked and the barbecue is located right out the sliding doors. brbrWe provide all linens and towels. Guests always seem to leave behind beach chairs but, bring your beach towels! brbrThe home has Directv with the new Genie system. There are televisions in each bedroom, as well as the living room. brPlease note, this home does have central heat but does not have A/C!
