It’s a great location with a nice balcony that overlooks all of the comings and goings of the island. We’ll definitely plan to go back there. It’s much better than any hotel in my opinion and the property manager is really on the ball.

Incredible location, 5 minutes walk from everything worth doing in avalon, and beautiful views of the harbor. Randy (host) was wonderful, very friendly and communicative, and the house was perfectly clean and ready for use when we arrived. 10/10 would stay again!!

We consistently come back to stay at Randy’s house year after year. It is always clean and it comes with gorgeous views of the harbor, plus it is within walking distance to everything. We will be back again soon.

Wonderful condo, great location, AMAZING VIEWS from the deck, clean well stocked kitchen, updated bathroom.Minuses — Must be able to walk up two flights of stairs. Not enough TP for the bathroom Bed a little soft for my taste. Otherwise we had a fanatic time and would definitely come again.

You can see everything going on but not really have to be apart of the noise. The deck has incredible views day or night. Perfect view of sun setting over back of mountains. Perfect breakfast/coffee views. Just so nice to relax. If you want to be apart of it all you are just steps away. Thisbplace is amazing!!

4th stay at the Grisham house That should tell you everything

Randy was very responsive and timely with all the details of the stay and communication. Great location within walking distance to everything. The additional amenities like the bikes and basketball was a plus. Will definitely stay here again!

This penthouse property was the perfect place to stay. A short Theo block walk from the ferry, easy check in, well stocked and comfortable property, but best of all was the location! My husband and I walked everywhere. It was our first time to the island and we took a tour every day to learn more about it. The people were very friendly and anxious to share their wonderful community. We hope to return and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

Easy access to the dock and beautiful view. Everything is walkable, though getting to Vons for groceries is only walkable for a few supplies. Overall, a great trip and would rent again!

Great stay. Views are terrific better than the pictures. Centrally located. Host easy to communicate with. All went off without a hitch.

This was a lovely little cottage just a short walk from the terminal and right on the edge of Avalon. Perfectly located to enjoy our stay on foot. The view was spectacular. The cottage is homey and quaint reminiscent of the old days of Catalina.

We come to Catalina every year for our anniversary.We chose this VRBO because of the beautiful view and location in town.We would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I stayed here for three nights and loved it! The bedroom is a little snug, but the kitchen and living room were great and the location is super convenient for both ferry and exploring Avalon. We also made good use of the grill.

There are not many harbor front spots to stay and I love that we were able to get the top floor too! Great size for me and my wife with an amazing view. Top view did help with the noise I expect from the other level. Everything was provided that we needed - full kitchen, extra pillows, a cozy couch and a nice queen bed. Patio was where we spent most of our time. Great for watching the boats come and go from the harbor and people watching. Instructions were very straightforward as well.

Top floor had everything we needed. Balcony was absolutely incredible! Location couldn’t be better. 10/10 overall experience. We can’t wait to go back and stay again!
