The pull-out couch converts into a double bed, but using it requires rearranging furniture and significantly reduces living and storage space. For this reason, the layout is not ideal for three adult guests.brbrInside you’ll find a comfortable queen bedroom, a modern bathroom with shower and toilet, and a separate sink located just outside the bathroom for added convenience. We do have some charging abilities at certain times of the day for smaller devices - phones, cameras, etc. However we can not power hair dryers, CPAP machines and any other personal electronic devices needing large power draws. brbrWe recommend bringing your own battery packs if you have them to power your devices or do without them during your stay : )brbrIf you require large power draws we can set up some times to run the onboard generator to suit your needs.

We do not use dryer sheets as well for environmental and body safe reasons.brbr⸻brbrTRANSITbrbrTo get to Tofino from the mainland, you need to take a ferry to Nanaimo (closest) or Victoria. From there, it’s a scenic drive. Anywhere from 3 (Nanaimo) to 5 hours (Victoria). You can also fly into the airport with Pacific Coastal Airlines (the flight is stunning and so quick!) or seasonally, take a float plane from the Vancouver harbour downtown to Tofino harbour downtown.brbrThere is a designated pedestrian path we call the MUP (multi use path) which is safe and has two lanes for walkers, bikers, joggers, strollers - you name it!. We encourage you to use it; it’s one of the things that makes Tofino unique. The free Shuttle bus runs during the summer months from town to the info centre. There is a city transit service that runs from Tofino to Ucluelet with limited service. There are a couple bike rentals (pedal bike and e-bike). There is also a local rideshare app called Coastal Rides, our version of Uber (download their app). Tofino Taxi is another option (though only one driver/car). For larger groups, there is Tiki Bus + Pacific Rim Navigators that needs to be pre arranged. There is a Budget Rental car service at the Tofino Airport (also needs to be pre-arranged).brbr⸻brbrBOOKING POLICIES:brbrCancellation: 100% refund less $50 cancellation fee plus tax if cancelled more than 30 days before arrival. It is located just off the highway which allows for easy access to both Tofino and Ucluelet.brbrThis unique cottage experience is perfect for explorers who want easy access to the Pacific Rim National Park and are within walking distance of Florencia Bay and a short 5 minute drive to the town of Ucluelet. Offering a unique experience this converted house boat has an endearing charm with the essence of untold stories from the sea. brbrThis cottage is the perfect place to spend a Vancouver Island getaway, featuring a private deck nestled in the forest with a new hot tub located at the back of the cottage amongst the old growth trees. Florencia Bay Cottage features dramatic wood accents outside with a warmth and coziness on the inside. Upstairs sits a quaint bedroom with a king-size bed and a large window to view the beautiful old-growth forest. The main floor has the second bedroom with another king-size bed and a TV perfect for a movie night on a rainy day. The living room is a calming open space with brightness from the many windows throughout the Cabin. The couch pulls out to a queen-size bed, comfortable for an additional two guests. The kitchen is fully stocked to allow ease while preparing meals. brThe kitchen island is a casual environment to eat at, or you can gather in the living room to enjoy mealtime while soaking in the views. There is one shared bathroom that has a shower/tub combination.
